First time visiting Chicago, husband found this place and ask me if I wanted to try it and of course I said yes. My opinion this... place beats chipoodle places. I had the chicken bowl portions (2 spoons) were good. Our daughter got the tortillas soup and sheloved it and my husband got the spicy chicken (1 spoon) bowl he enjoyed his but his portions were as good as mine. I recommendto try it out. I think this place beats out that other Chipot** place. Got a chicken bowl with spicy chicken and I really enjoyed it. Taste... wise it was really good. Portion wise...well it depends who is helping you. My wife got 2 very nice spoonfuls of chicken, me,not so much. Read more
Excellent flavors!!! I had the chicken burrito with rice and beans, hot sauce, cilantro and onions, roasted chile corn and... cheese. An amazing burst of flavors thar did not over power each other. This will definitely be on my list of stops when I'm inthe city. Read more
Tried it for the first time. Ordered a Cabo shrimp burrito and got myself a chicken bone stuck on my soft palate in my mouth... when I was half way through my lunch. I am pescatarian and this hurts me. I tried this place even though I saw a review withsomeone getting a plastic in their food and it seemed the owner resolved the issue. Hopefully this doesn’t happens to others. Read more
My pregnant girlfriend pulled plastic out of her buffalo chicken bowl. We Called to make a complaint the guy barely spoke... English and said the manager wasn’t there. The size of the plastic was large enough the choke on. Disgusted by the negligence???? Read more
This is my 1st time here. Because the reviews are pretty good, so I wanted to give it a try. This review is based on their... service from the store on Ohio Street. It was a weekday, I placed an order of $45 online (for 4 individual meals) at 10:30am forpick up at 12:30pm. When I showed up, I was told they didn't have my order. I then showed them the e-mail confirmation withorder details. The cashier and the food preparing staff were cold and not friendly at all which made me feel like it was myfault they couldn't find my order. The guy behind the counter had to copy down 2 items details from my e-mail, then he wanted meto read him the other 2 items'. I had to wait there for at least 20 extra mins because they were busy. When I got home, I foundout that 1 meal was missing. Very tired and frustrated, I had to call them but the line was busy. So I repacked everything andheaded back to the store which wasted me another 40 mins to walk back and forth. When I got there and explained what wasmissing, there was no apologies or what so ever from the staff. To be fair, the food tasted pretty reasonable, but I wasextremely disappointed with their service. Will not go back. UPDATE: I was reached out by Burrito Beach Management after I leftthe original review. They offered their apology for my missing order and poor service I received that day. I even got a partialrefund which made me believe that they take their business very seriously. I'm willing to go back and try again. Read more
