I got a free Italian beef for Italian beef sandwich day. Nice outdoor patio, excellent fries.
The staff was friendly, and the beef was as tasty as expected from Buona. The fries were fairly stale, and we did have to repeat... our order a few times to still end up with an extra topping on one sandwich at the end, but I'd visit again when I'm in thearea! Read more
This place is good. You can sign up for their rewards program to save money. They have a good selection of sandwiches, salads,... soups, sides,, etc. It is Italian-American food so Italian beef is their specialty but of course they have lots of other stuffas well. It is a nice family place, convenient and a decent variety of food choices. Overall they have continued to improveover the last several years since they opened. Ate here multiple times during my week stay in Chicago and every time the staff was very friendly. Quick service, clean... establishment, and consistently good food. Gluten free options available, I was very happy to be able to enjoy Italian beefwith a gluten free bun. Read more
visited from out of town and needed a cool spot for lunch. overall, the food was good and very filling! the staff was helpful... with suggestions and patient with us as it was our first time stopping in. just took a while for my mom to get her salad aftermy dad and I had gotten our food. Read more
The food was very good. The food came out quick or faster than I expected to be. They have sport channels playing on the TVs... which was cool because I got to watch the game. I got to eat outside and they gave us some ketchup for our fries without askingso that was cool and, they come to get your trash and they bring the food out but, if you want to bring in your trash you can.So overall everything is great. Stopped here for a quick lunch after exploring the Navy Pier. We ordered the 10 inch Italian Beef with cheese and mild... Giardiniera. We also also a Chicago styled hot dog. Both were really good, the Hot Dog had a nice poppy seed bun and theGiardiniera paired well with the Italian Beef. Read more
