Bru is an incredible cafe, it has a really huge space and the wifi is posted on a big sign so it's not confusing and you don't... have to ask! It is one of the only halal cafe options in Chicago. The drinks are a little overpriced but still delicious, andit's a comfortable environment to chat with a friend or get some work done. Would definitely go to again. Read more
One of the best coffees I had in Chicago and I tried a lot of different places. The coffee was so good, they had one of the best... coffee machines but also the baristas definitely knew what they were doing. I also tried the gf brownie which was not that good,I think it wasn’t fresh. And we also tried one of the protein shakes and it was really good but kinda overpriced. The placewas beautiful and great to just sit and relax but also to study. Definitely recommend it! Read more
Such an adorable place. Chandeliers and French style furniture and jazz music. Perfect place to come in for a cup of coffee and... read or meet up with a friend. Also seriously good crepes!!! Delicious and creative crepes full of unique flavor combinations. The interior is super fun with lots of couches, areas for big... groups, tables to work at, and lots of light up front. The coffee is always pretty darn good, but come here for the crepes asthey're the real star of the show. Read more
Great espresso. I love when I walk into a shop and don't have to explain what a cortado is. Lots of options for alternative... milks. Food smelled good and many people seemed to be ordering crepes, but I did not try them myself. Good style and plenty ofplaces to sit down and work if you need. Read more
I now daydream about the goat cheese, arugula and pear crepe with honey truffle oil--so addictive. I need to try something else... but always seem to come here when I'm craving this crepe, so this has become sort of a habit. I've brought several visitingfriends here and they've all found a new true love as well, so I'm sure everything else is amazing too, but I can't seem to denymyself this one for now.
