First time at Brothers Restaurant after living in the area for 17 years and we'll definitely be coming back! Our waitress was... very kind and attentive, not just to us but to everyone that walked in. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. Such friendly staff, nice local diner feel, and huge portions! The chilaquiles are quite possibly the best in the Avondale... neighborhood. They recently updated their signage/awning and overall are very clean and simple, in the best way. We also triedthe half order of biscuits and gravy and they were nice too! First off. This place us super clean and cute. Old school diner feel because it is laid back and chill. The food is great... because it has options for those that don't eat pork, like myself, but want a diner style breakfast. Also, you get a fillingportion for a reasonable price. The owner is the cook. He takes a lot of pride in his work, comes out the kitchen to check onthe customers, and is super friendly. I really enjoyed the food and feel of the place. Also check out their smoothies ???? I went there to take pictures of their food. When I walked in i was greeted by the waitress and walked to my table. I noticed... how both waitresses always had a smile when talking to the costumers and always making sure the costumers were taken care of. Ihad the Banana Pecan French Toast and it was amazing. Amazing food! We live right down the street and this was our first time - ordered the diner burger & the chicken quesadilla and... both were fresh & super tasty! The diner burger had a fresh grilled taste and the quesadilla had fresh peppers, cilantro onion,tomato and very good. Huge portions! Highly recommend for takeout! Read more
Moved back to the neighborhood recently after a couple years and finally tried this place out. First of all, the staff is like,... the fckin best. It?s usually the same people when I?m here waiting on us, and the chef will also come out and ask how everythingis and chit chat with us. They let us try a new recipe they were working on one of the last times we were here. It feels like areal community spot and the food is great too. Awesome spot for a hangover. Always good vibes.
