Reviews for Brasa Roja Elston in Chicago, IL
They make my favorite whole chicken! The only one I literally crave! My only complaint from this being a five star review is the... Arepa. It is always a disappointment being way too dry and way too stiff. The green salsa that they give you is my favorite aswell! It has the best flavor and just the right amount of spice. Read more
After a long walk we decided to have lunch and let me tell you that the food is fresh, the spices deliciously add so much... flavor. Coming back real soon. Read more
Presentation was good. Clean, friendly, organized location with efficient service. Food taste was great serving size was... considerable for the pricing. Will definitely try again. I had the carne asada special. Read more
Decent place. Priced pretty inexpensively and the quality is good. Simple set up, nothing fancy. But the service is nice and the... place is clean. Good little place to go to for some authentic food. Read more
The staff are very nice which is a guy and lady. The ribeye steak is very good and has a great flavor. They give you like 3 big... pieces so I guarantee you will have enough leftover for the next day. The chicken breast is good, but dries out quickly so it'sbest to eat that in one setting. You get green sauce with your meal which is a different take to have with the steak. You alsoget potato and salad. However, I usually request rice. Good meal for less than $20 bucks. Read more
First let me start by saying that as soon as you walk in here you are greeted with a smile. The staff makes you feel welcomed... and present you to your table right away. Churrasco is what I chose from their delish menu. The price was perfect and theportion was pretty big as you can see on the pics below, medium well is what I chose. As an appetizer I had their chicharonempanadas and I have to say very tasty. They were crunchy on the outside and soft plus delish on the inside. I would totallyrecommend this place for a nice dinner at an affordable price with large portions of deliciousness...lol enjoy. Read more
Our first time trying Colombian food. Pretty good, though the flavor wasn't really my speed. Great staff, huge portions, low... prices. Since this was a new restaurant for us, I tried the beef combo platter. The fried plantain was my favorite part, butthe beans and sausage were also pretty good, especially for breakfast the next morning. Read more
