Excellent venue to play board games while enjoying some coffee and snacks. We held a pre-wedding gathering here for our friends.... Drew (the owner) helped us set everything up and reserve a space in the cafe. The cafe has a large selection of games, fromsimple to complex, and the staff helped all our guests find something that they enjoyed. Overall a great place to spend anafternoon! Read more

As a Real Estate Broker, I pride myself in knowing what my community has to offer. One of my family's favorite places is Bonus... Round Café. We celebrated my son's 21st birthday with drinks, and nibbles. We played a fun strategic board game- they have manyto choose from. My daughter does not eat gluten. While the café has a "no outside food policy," they did allow us to bringfood for her. Thank you to the staff for a terrific evening! Read more

First time going to Bonus Round Game for a date night and I’d love to make this spot a regular hangout. My 3 favorite things... about this place: My partner and I were instantly greeted by a staff member who guided us to a table and asked us about ourgame preferences. After perusing the menu, we decided on pretzels, a Parks mocktail, and a S’mores stout. We both thoroughlyenjoyed our drinks! I’d recommend having more snack options in the future (popcorn, kettle corn, cheezits). One of theemployees brought us an array of board games to play based upon our preferences. We tried Décorum, Forbidden Island, and TheGame. The staff members must have amazing memories because ours, Dierdre, was able to briefly summarize all of the games andtheir rules! The environment is very relaxed and peaceful. There were a few other pairs of individuals playing games, anotherperson working on their laptop. I can definitely see this spot being perfect for a first date, recurrent date night, or meetingup with the squad. Thank you for a great first impression, Bonus Round Cafe! Read more

We have been here a few times on date nights or with friends for drink & draft etc. The guides have always been helpful to teach... or recommended games to suit your style. Drinks and food are good too. Paying a flat fee to try a bunch of games from a hugeselection to avoid buying games I hate is definitely worth it. Owners are super helpful and have been very thoughtful during thepandemic with safety. Read more

I love this place! I've never been to a board game cafe in Chicago before so my partner and I were excited to visit, and wow!... The staff were very attentive in helping us try new games and taking our orders. There was no issue of it getting too crowdedwhile we were there. We had so much fun that we went back the following weekend! Read more

Adorable, fun shop with lots of interesting games to play! I came in with a friend of mine. We only had 45 minutes but Caro, one... of the friendly servers was able to bring a few fun quick games for us to explore. I also appreciated that they have veganoptions on the menu as a mostly plant based eater. This is a great spot for a first date or to take a group of friends for gamenight or a fun game afternoon. As a lover of board games and games in general, I really enjoyed that the staff makerecommendations for which games to play and provide options. We played a cool game called Battle Sheep and I can't wait toexplore more of the games I've never tried. Great Game Cafe in Chicago. Read more

This is a full service game cafe. You have to pay $7/person for the table, but in return you can play dozens of games from their... collection without reading the rules (they will teach you!) and you can be served simple cafe.food, drinks, or small bowls ofsnacks/candy. Can get quite busy even on week nights, and table reservations are capped to 2.5 hours, so not ideal for longerboard games (including the teach). Definitely worth it for the game library, recommendations, and amazing atmosphere! Seeattached photos for pictures of their collection. Read more
