This review is long overdue. My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary in September and then we dined here again last... month for my birthday. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We also sat outside both times. The patio isbeautiful and charming. I felt like I was on vacation somewhere. I love this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back! Read more

Everything was delicious. But I think the onion soup was the star. I really liked the escargots, but my friend not so much. I... really loved the patio made me feel like I was in some European town sipping wine. I would definitely go back and try moredishes. I wish they had more cocktails for people who don't like hard drinks. Read more

Great fun and cozy dinner spot in Lincoln Square. We had the charcuterie to share as an appetizer which worked out great to... start the evening. I had the trout which was really light and full of a flavor with a nice almond butter sauce and green beans wcapers. Great option and highly recommend if looking for something light. My date had the salmon which had good reviews as well.Great service for an A+ evening done French style. Evening included wine, coffee and dessert. Read more

Beautiful garden with excellent array of modern food. I found the chicken dish slightly on the heavy side so if you’re in the... mood for a hearty dish, which I wasn’t at the time, this would be a good fit for you. Whilst the server recommended fantasticwine pairings with a beautiful attitude, she did give a wrong dish and forgot an ordered beer for one person at our table whichmade the experience a little less professional. Noticeably long wait for food order as well hence a 4 and not a 5. Read more

Intimate eatery serving excellent cuisine. Our pork belly appetizer had a delicious sauce with whole carrots. The baguette had a... perfect thin crispy crust with a warm inside served with honeycomb, butter and roasted garlic cloves. Could've eaten a dozen ofthese. The salmon had a tasty seasoning on top with a generous bed of mushrooms on pureed peas. The cassoulet was hearty withsausage, leg and thigh and pork. The bavette steak was tender and juicy, once again, with an excellent sauce. We ordered thechocolate pot de creme, lemon on pistachio shortbread topped with a flamed meringue, and the bread pudding with figs. All wereexcellent. Cappuccino froth was a bit on the stiff side, but the port was nice. The Trappist Belgian ale was yummy and playedwell with all the flavors. It is pricey, but we were celebrating a birthday and it was worth it for a special occasion. Withtip it was $260 for three of us. Read more

Had a lovely time here with friends a few weeks ago! It was so nice to have delicious French food in Chicago, and the waitstaff... was phenomenal. I don't think we had a single dish we disliked, but you should definitely try the mussels, peach tartine, chicken dish, the lemon tart, and the bread pudding. All in all - DELICIOUS! The space is very cozy with dim lighting and smallrooms. Two unisex bathrooms all on the ground floor, but there are some small change in floor heights that may be difficult forsome walkers. Read more
