This little chicken shop is so under the radar I can't blame you for missing it. But food blew me away. I got their Big Boss... chicken sandwich, and let me tell you the chicken was perfect. Beautifully fried, juicy inside and crunchy outside. The sauce onit was a wonderful blend of spice and character with several different flavors dancing together. The wait wasn't long and it wasso worth it. It was obvious my sandwich was freshly prepared, the chicken was so hot I almost couldn't eat it. The slaw andonions on the sandwich brought it all together and I don't know if I've had a better chicken sandwich in this city. Therestaurant itself is almost tucked away under the freeway on a busy street. The interior is simple but enjoyable, while thepaper plate and solo cup worked to create a backyard BBQ feeling that's perfect for fried chicken enjoyment. I will mostdefinitely be going back. We choose this spot bc of the good reviews, so we decided to try a variety of their entire menu. Their chicken sandwiches are... the best thing on their menu! It felt like we were back at Nashville, 10/10 would recommend. Cheese dogs are cinnamon/sugar corndogs filled with cheese, weird combination; it was difficult to enjoy. Dumplings were preheated, and not made for order. Mac andcheese was seasoned, personally did not enjoy either; my partner loved it! Lastly, we had a curry chicken combination that wascold when it arrived to the table. The staff was nice and took it back to heat it up. Love the food!! We got takoyaki, mac n cheese and fries for appetizer, free french toast because we spent more than $25! We... tried the X-HOT sandwich, leg and thigh big bird. It is spicy! Loved the food, got the Big Boss sandwich, level Hot. I am a fiend for spicy food, this level made me sniffle a little but that... was it. Will definitely go back to try Xtra Hot next time. I had the big boss chicken samich and l really did enjoy eating that bad boy. A little PSA, the chicken samich is spicy. I eat... spicy food and the medium was still spicy so if you can't haddle the heat, stay out the kitchen...just kidding but yeah go withmild. I can't comment on how good that one will be but Im sure it is just as good. Samich is pretty big so I think value wise,it is reasonable. I should of gotten the waffle fries with cheese but I will get that next time. I would definately recommendthis spot. Read more
