Very flavorful food while not being stingy with the good stuff! The tacos were loaded with chicken and the guacamole and chips... came with a very healthy portion of guacamole. Very nice server; BIG FAN! Read more

Chips and guac was amazing and French toast was yummy too. Also had a taste of the fried chicken sandwich which Inc had better.... Overall the food was not bad except the service was terrible. The server was giving us unnecessary attitude and she barely cameto check in on us. I’ve had better food in restaurants that treats their customers better so I will most likely not be goingback Read more

Great cocktails and lucky enough to walk in during half price happy hour. The brisket tacos, also incredible. The staff, so warm... and wonderful. I can't wait to come back here again. Read more

This is a great spot for brunch and dinner in Lakeview! I went for brunch and had a great afternoon with friends. The staff was... friendly and the space was nice. We all enjoyed our food and drinks, although it was a bit on the pricier side. I specificallyenjoyed the Cornbread Benedict and the table liked their Bloody Marys and the Margaritas. Read more

Barcocina is a cute little gem nestled between Lakeview and Lincoln Park. I came here on a Sunday after church for brunch and it... was decently busy. I was lead to an darker, quieter back room for my reservation and seated right next to a server station. Idid ask to move to the bar because I felt very disconnected from the rest of the restaurant. The server was super understandingand helped us pick our seats at the bar. The drinks were ok, I am a bartender myself therefore in my true opinion, my“spicy” mezcal old fashioned should have been a bit stronger and less sweet, it lacked spice almost completely, bummer. Thisis the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Other than that the truffle guacamole was amazing, the breakfast omelette as well.Due to the pandemic, everyone is understaffed, including Barcocina, but the servers and bartenders still did a great jobservicing us. Would like to come back st night and see what that ambiance is like. Read more

Would’ve loved to eat at an igloo but we ended up indoors. Had a few margs, din din and just got to chill in the warm indoors.... Cute ambiance for a girls night out or date night! Read more

Definitely the experience! You must reserve the igloo via email, but it was very easy to do. Even though I reserved the day... before (last minute) it was very fast responses and helpful information! Igloo reservations are only good for 2hrs, the food anddrinks were unlimited! It was definitely worth the money, drive, and experience! They igloos are heated, came with a Bluetoothspeaker to play your own music, and no long waits for servers to assist. We had our drinks and chips awaiting at the table asour time came! Highly recommended! Parking is/can be an issue - their is a hospital parking garage a couple blocks away orstreet parking (if you are lucky) but only reserved for 2hrs max. Read more

Great food, great atmosphere and great drinks. The selection of drinks is great, something for everyone. The appetizers all... sound amazing. The few we ordered were on point. So far have tried four types of tacos. Three have been good. One has been okbut never would get again. The food is fresh and flavorful. Definitely a place to try when your in the area. Only downside isthey never have the ingredients for one of their drinks, been there two times and both times they did not have the ingredients. Read more
