While I'd been here before and enjoyed both food and drinks, on this occasion I was solo and tried their patio in the alley... shared with 3 Dots and a Dash. I went for the Experience with cocktail pairings ($90). Can't say enough good things about thisoption. They didn't even tell you this was an option, but I'd saw mention of it on their website menu. You additionally get anAmuse Bouche with mini-cocktail, then 4 savory courses with 3 mini-cocktails, then dessert with mini-cocktail. What a cool concept! Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, and some of the best service I've ever had in Chicago. It was so neat.... I'll be back. Edit: I have now tried the food here and it is phenomenal. Fried chicken tacos, quesabirria tacos, oysters, duckbarbacoa, and the mango dessert were all great. The food came out so quickly, and for what we were getting I think it was VERYreasonably priced. I felt like royalty for $80. I did not expect that such an awesome experience would ever be accessible to me.The servers were SO attentive, and so much care was clearly put into the presentation of every aspect of our experience. Come here often but was really disappointed with my last experience. I ordered oysters and the majority of them had broken... shells in them ruining the eating experience. When I mentioned it the person I assume was the manager waved it off. While theprices stayed similar, the portion size and quality seems to have gone down(I had tacos and drinks as well) and I don't thinkI'll return as the value is not there anymore. I got to go there for after dinner drinks on my last trip to Chicago. Our service was great. We stayed so long we shut it down.... Lol. But I got to try some fairly obscure mezcals and even tried racialla. If you know a bit about mezcal you’ll definitelywant to check this Place out.
