We dined at Antico and felt swindled when receiving our bill. We were charged over 2x of the advertised price of the gnocchi for... the entree size portion, without any disclaimer of price. $40 for gnocchi is out of touch, definitely not good enough to matchthe price. The ambiance and service is average considering the high bill. Will not be coming back. Read more

If you are looking for a quiet, romantic restaurant in Bucktown, you've found the right place! I like to recommend Antico to... clients and friends that are new to the neighborhood, or Chicago, as it is small and off the beaten path. Nora is alwayswelcoming and has great recommendations for wine to accompany any dish. The back patio is cozy in the winter months. Menuhighlights include; any of the handmade pastas, the polenta (not to be missed), short ribs, risotto of the day and daily fishare always enjoyable! Read more

A northern Italian tribute, this restaurant is unique in its specificity. While a little off the beaten path there’s a lot to... offer. We sat on the back patio which is absolutely perfect for a cool summer day or even better as we head into fall with theirlittle cast iron stove to provide a comforting heat blanket. The diver scallops absolutely blew our mind. To the point we wereordering extra bread just to sop up what leftover sauce we could salvage. Had it been acceptable I would have drank straightfrom the pate! From there we went with a delicious yet not overly rich risotto and a much room pasta which shouted of itsfreshness. Oh, and the donut zeppelin at the end was the best throwback combination of a state fair sugar waffle. ????????????Aquaint Italian eatery that will be a more unique date location than some of the oft talked about alternatives.
