Reviews for Andiamo Pizzaria in Chicago, IL
Like nothing else! Literally the best calzone I’ve ever eaten. I have had my fair share of calzones in my travels across the... country, I quite simply never had a calzone taste and look this good. It’s prepared from scratch and baked in a brick oven -and mine came out in the shape of a fish!So cool! It was absolutely delicious. Massive portion. Very cool old style Italianristorante vibe Read more
Nothing redeeming whatsoever I came here with my kids looking for reasonably quality Italian meal. The garlic bread was dry and... inferior to Target garlic toast. The artichoke dip was just bizarre and tasteless. The pepperoni pizza my kids ordered wascovered in pools of grease. My manicotti was bland and heavy. We felt nauseated and my kids ate a small portion of a slice ofpizza. We took nothing home Maybe this place used to be good or it’s for the grandparent local crowd who don’t have a palatethat knows fine dining. Disgraceful and what I’d expect from a small rural town. Short answer, go downtown. Eitherone. Unless you like to drink 3-4 glasses of wine and deluding yourself here or Crave. Read more
A really great pizzeria. Very nice owners(?) And loved the environment. Good food and authentic.
Great locally owned pizza place with a real pizza oven. Thier Fungi pizza is the best, and they have awesome service!
The owner Mike said it would be one of the best pizzas Ive had and definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I have been to Italy for pizza and by far this is as authentic as it gets! The pizza man, owner, makes his dough from scratch... and I don't know what his secret sauce is but every pizza he makes is delicious. We have also had his pasta dishes and they aresuperb! The place is quaint and clean, it is byob, but there is a Walgreens across the street to indulge in tour favorite wine. This is a great place for a date, family dinner or just stop by for a nice slice of pizza...whatever your day brings make sureto indulge in this authentic tasty Italian gem. Let the pizza man know that his "magic touch" to his dishes is something to bebragging about! BON appetit! Delicioso!!!!????????????? Read more
Pizza was fresh and decent. The woman who took our order was very nice and polite. The three stars are specifically for her... service and decent food. The man who actually made the pizza (maybe owner?) was pretty disrespectful. I had a coupon that IPURCHASED which offered $10 off - the coupon DID not have any expiration date (clearly stated). The guy got VERY upset that wewanted to use the coupon. He yelled at me from behind the counter muttering about how I am trying to use a coupon and how theydon't offer it anymore. USUALLY- actually 10/10 times, even if the place does not offer the coupon anymore but the couponCLEARLY is not expired, they STILL honor it & say "this is the last time" BUT this man was not only rude to me and my husbandbut also refused to honor it. At the end of the meal after paying $30 for the 2 pizzas, I spoke to him in a very civil mannertelling him he should take this coupon OFF the website I got it from if it is not valid. At this point, I DID not want the $10off but wanted to let him know that it is NOT okay to yell at customers. He then accused me that I had been there before(rudely). This was my first time. Will also be my last. Read more
Wonderful! When you walk in the restaurant it doesn’t look like the food is going to be good. But, I’m telling you the food... is amazing. We ordered the prosciutto calzone and potato Italian-Sausage pizza that is baked in wood fire oven. The owner/pizzamaster is from Rome, Italy and has been cooking pizza for over 40 years. Give it a try. You will not regret it. Definitely, arare gem. Read more
