Wonderful, flavorful Falafel and smoky, succulent lamb Kebap! Very friendly staff and an intimate, comfortable atmosphere.

i wanted to try Anatolian Kitchen based on the reviews. i’m glad i did. first, lahmacun was great. ayran was from homemade... yoghurt. it was sour as it’s supposed to be. their ac?l? ezme was fresh and delicious. then came lamb and chicken kebab mix.well done as well. dessert was künefe (to me it’s the dessert of desserts), and again i didn’t miss the ones in Istanbul.the owner Eyüp and staff Nazl? were very attentive and friendly. i advise going there during weekdays as it was quite. i satfor at least two hours. it’s not the kind of place where they expect you to leave immediately after you’re done with yourfood. i had free tea and coffee accompanied by warm conversation. highly recommended! Very nice Turkish decoration! Love the traditional seat and table covers. Two main problems: 1. it takes for ever from when you... order until the food is at the table! 2. It’s a really small place and gets filled real quick (I assume because it’spopular). Other than that it was a pleasant experience. I didn’t enjoy the dish I ordered adana kabob bit it was more a matterof taste. The baklava, tea and coffee were good. Read more

Amazing, authentic Turkish food. My fiancee and I met in Turkey and went here to celebrate our anniversary. We felt transported... back at Anatolia. The dishes are traditional and delicious. The owner is super nice, and a world champ arm wrestler. My favoritepart is they are the only place in Chicago to offer a large Turkish breakfast! Read more
