I am confused is this place Ameer Kabob or Hummus Grill. I ordered this online when I arrived the name of the place was Hummus... Grill. In any case, ordered 2 Falafel Wrap and baba ganoush. **OLD REVIEW** One of the best Arabic foods I had tried in Chicago land. Babaghanoosh was amazing and... delicious. **UPDATE** Apparently they have now merged with Hummus Grill. The new restaurant also offers pretty damn goodfood. -The kefta was decent quality -The Chicken Kabob was pretty damn good and tender. - The Hummus taste very authentic andcreamy - The Taboleh Salad also tasted authentic and home-made which is good... - Very clean resturant which is always a + -Unfortunately the portion size is nowhere close to what the OG Ameer kabob used to serve. In General the meal size was a bitsmaller that what you would usually get at a Mediterranean restaurant when you order a mixed grill plate - The food is not quitelike what I used to get at the OG location tbh... overall the food was tasty and FRESH. Ordered a chicken shawarma entree and a small hummus, along with two cokes, for $18 (before tip). This portion size was enough... to fill up the two of us, and will be having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. This place is PHENOMENAL, the flavors of eachdish complement one another very well!
