My wallet may not always agree with my stomach and my stomach with spicy ingredients, yet they both agree that this Aloha Poke... slaps. There can be quite the lengthy line during lunch and dinner rushes, and the location itself is rather small, yet waitingin line goes quickly. I can’t speak for online orders, yet they seem to be fulfilled in a timely manner! I have never had aproblem with ingredients either. They always fill up my bowl to the brim. Read more

Don't ever order here. The Kahuna bowl (the largest) was soooooo small. Makes me think what a small bowl is...a dixie cup? ... Fish was not that fresh, put wasabi on the wrong order. Person couldn't eat it. Order came in ripped up bag. Poor packing. Miso soup was like strained socks. 2 bowls came to $55. What a rip off? There are MUCH BETTER places to go. Taste was notthat great. Not real poke. That is immediately evident when looking at the menu. Cauliflower rice and mixed greens for the base? ? Avocado,... edamame, and any other ingredient on top that isn't fish? ? Drizzling the sauce on top instead of thoroughly coating the fish init? ? And this is before we get to the whole debacle where they tried to trademark Hawaiian words as a midwestern chain. And@Peter DG, you might want to figure out why people are upset before passing judgement. It isn't about gatekeeping who can makepoke (as if the food made here can pass as poke), but about cultural appropriation. Educate yourself. Read more

Not like anything on the islands. Might as well dunk your head in an aquarium at Petco. I'm sure the flavor will be the same and... you'll save a lot of money in the process. Read more

The poke here was very fresh and well prepared. Standard sizing, and I was satisfied from my “Big” bowl. But if you’re... really having a craving, I say shoot for the “Kahuna.” I loved the variety of options they had for toppings. I’d suggestjust going and building your own bowl because the standard ones weren’t on the menu weren’t my preference. Also the employeedidn’t do a good job in explaining the menu to my dad, nor did they remember the extra volcano sauce that was requested.Overall, still solid. Read more

I should had checked here before ordering for the first time thru DoorDash. The food came and I thought to myself did I get... other people’s food!! The size is a joke, was expecting a regular sized bowl but instead I got a mini baby size. It doesn’tlook like the authentic poke bowl neither. I had much better and authentic poke bowl elsewhere... I had the Aloha bowl, which was pretty good, and definitely healthier than my normal lunch time sub or pizza down here in the... Loop. But I did find a small sharp fish bone, which would've been much worse if I wasn't paying attention. I've been happy withother Aloha Poke restaurants and I'm sure that this is not a regular occurrence. I would recommend this place for a lunch timemeal. Read more
