I tired more than 10 of their mini cakes and 7 different macaroons. I haven?t tried their cakes or pastries. First, location is... good. To me location is good when street parking is near. Mini cakes: they named them pretty. And the taste is great. I lovehow they controlled the sweetness. It is sweet enough but not overly sweet. I bought mini cakes for my ?guy? friends. Because Iknow they will not finish cakes and some of them don?t like the cakes. However, so far mini cakes haven?t failed me. People wholikes real sweet desserts might want sweeter even though it was perfect for me. I?ve visited regularly ever since I?ve knownthem for their mini cakes. Macaroons: I am sorry. This is only reason I took one star off. To me macaroons have to have 1. ashell that is like crackable cookie 2. Inside of shell chewy 3. Fillings soft and creamy. The problem was number 2 part. Previous reviews sounded really good so I expected that it must be good. I rarely write a negative review but it was quite... disappointing especially the service. Staff was not friendly. No smile. No eye contact. Although she said hello when I wasstanding there, I had to wait for a while until she was ready to take the order. I felt like I was ignored and I almost walkedout. But I thought it would be rude to do so, so I waited until I could order. I bought some and took home. Only good things arethat Macaroon is delicious and nice ambience. Read more
We have been here couple of times and have managed to try some of their sumptuous pastries and macaroons. I wasnt a fan of their... espressos. The pastries with the rose flavor was out favorite. Simple setup and not much to say about the ambience. However, Ido have to note that they charge like 20cents for hot water which was strange. On the whole, a great pastry shop. Read more
