Decent common Korean dishes here, nothing was particularly amazing. They used apples instead of pears in the naengmyeon, which I... didn't mind much. The banchan were good, but nothing stood out. The kimbap tasted like it came from a grocery store. Prices werereasonable. Staff were friendly and food came out fast. I probably won't come back. There's better Korean food in Chicagoelsewhere. Definitely go with a larger group and order a little of everything! Although things didn't come out all at once, we loved that... because it gave us enough room on the table, haha. Everything was delicious and I'll keep going back! The staff was alsoextremely nice and attentive whenever they noticed we were running low on anything. They also have some great deals going oneach day, so I say check out this website/Instagram to see which day you want to go! Finally!!!! A Korean restaurant in the South Loop! I have been waiting forever! I was able to walk to Ahjoomah's Apron to pick... up my order. I am very impressed! I got lunch delivered from Ahjoomah’s Apron via Uber Eats. I ordered two dishes: black bean noodle and pork belly and kimchi... stir fry. Good things first: banchan included even for delivery, the stir fry was smoky and delicious, the noodle texture was onpoint, timing was great, carefully packaged. On the downside, ban chan quality can be improved , so can the flavor of black beansauce (more cabbage, smokiness from onions), portion size is great for one person but not the price. Second try: got dinnerthrough uber eats again. My friend got kimchi gimbap and sikhye (rice punch) and I tried jjambong this time. Again they did notskip on ban chan even for delivery food which is always applauded. The jjambong is definitely delicious and fulfilling, not toospicy and filled with seafood flavor. Kimchi gimbap was also flavorful and filling. Yet I still think i would enjoy it much moreif the price is more reasonable, especially for kimchi gimbap. Read more
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at this place. Menu was pretty spot-on Korean, as were the beverage options.... Everything we had was fresh delicious, especially the bibimbap. Which was nice to eat after being out drinking:) Service waspretty good. It was a bit busy so the staff was stretched thin but this is definitely a decent place for a hearty Korean meal! Read more
First time going here was amazing. Ordered a few items that had ‘most popular’ next to them which were amazing. Got the... veggie dumplings - amazing flavor, sauce that comes with them is amazing. Server mentioned that this is good to do veggie tosave room for other food which was right because we were so full. Black bean noodles - also popular - amazing g portion size,sauce is incredibly flavorful, and these yellow radishes that come in the dish are insanely tasty Beef bulgogi- also popular-amazing simple bulgogi beef with veggies and some jasmine rice, so good. Loving this Korean restaurant. I know this store by one of my Korean friend’s suggestions. He told me this store has very... close to his hometown! I have been there for two times. There have a lot of small dishes. Last time, I order the fried rice.Which is really really good! You can also see it in my photo. After finished eating, the worker will gives some candy! Therealso have enough seats for guests. It is one of best choice in the Chinatown to get the Korean foods. It also has the Korean hotpot. Maybe when the winter, I will come to try it. Read more
