Strange layout and atmosphere. Service is slow and confused. Cuts of fish are pretty great though, while the rolls are hit or... miss. I don’t recommend the spicy tuna. Cocktails are yummy though! Read more
Takeaway: this place is becoming a go to; the sushi is delcious and they are very creative with their rolls and other offerings... on the menu. The service was great when we walked in on a Saturday night. They weren't terribly busy which was shocking giventhe quality of the meal. Really enjoyed the range of the menu and the miso pork belly buns were perfection. They interior is abit kitschy and well-loved, but the food more than makes up for it. Read more
Food is good, but came with higher expectations. The ramen soup was good but not the best I've ever had, the sushi was good and... my favorite part was the bao! I like it, but I don't love it. Read more
The food. Chefs kiss. however, the service was so terrible with communication between staff that it took over 20 min for someone... to come to my table. Then another 15 to get my drink. My food came before my cocktail and all around I was highly disappointedwith the staff. They were nice but everyone was all over the place… there are too many great sushi places to have this be areason to go out of my way to eat here again. But I would reccomend takeout. Wow- the Chicago Bulls and the Men In Black house rolls are worth every penny. Highly recommend their take on fresh oysters as... well as their teriyaki topping adds a lot to the oyster flavor.
