Awesome food, awesome coffee! good service too, great mom & pop place thats been there for 40 years!! Was just what i was in the... mood for! Meatloaf: what kind of meat was it cuz it tasted like something else. Too-salty gravy, old and cold potato, buns individually... prepackaged. Also, waitress sitting with her back to the few customers wasn't really welcoming. I really wanted to like yourdiner, but I won't be back. Read more
Let's be honest sometimes you just want an inexpensive greasy spoon to get some comfort food. A and T has been around for a... long long time. The tables are worn. The booths are worn. Even some of the staff are worn. Yes there may be a cobweb from 1951in a far recessed corner. But its 5 stars. Its quick. It is delicious. It iscomforting. Eggs how you like them hash brownssausages bacon omelettes etc. Basic fare well down and served by attentive staff with gallon and gallons of coffee on tap. Plenty of street parking. Absolutely great....really surprised this place never ended up in 80s Chicago movies. Great place. Read more
We went to A&T for breakfast on Christmas morning. Remember, this is a diner! Old school with GOOD endless coffee and really... nice servers. They offer an organic eggs upgrade for a nominal charge. The service is great and the food is tasty. Read more
