Found this gem today. Best garlic bread I’ve ever had. Carbonara was so delicious and the customer service is amazing (thanks... Andres). Although the carbonara tasted great, it hardly had any Guanciale in it. Everyone is courteous and you can tell theyenjoy working there. Also really love the water glasses and the patio seating. This will definitely be on my list for when I amvisiting DC. Read more

We went because of a recommendation and weren’t disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious. We started with a burricotta... with rosemary bread and it was a perfect starter. Then we had the carbonara and the lasagna. Both were delicious but thecarbonara was the preferred one. Then we closed with the most delicious dessert I’ve tasted in a while. It’s a chocolate andhazelnut cake and has something crispy in between layers that makes it incredible. Pair it with vainilla icecream. Amado was ourserver and he offered us a really good service, very friendly and open to give us recommendations. Thank you and hopefully wewill be back. Read more

Great ambiance, decor, and service. Very friendly servers as well. But the food was a little overwhelming. Margherita was not... what I was looking for. Instead of tomato sauce, they had diced tomatoes, which made the dough very soggy. I would’ve alsowanted more basil. But overall I had a great time. I would love to come back, but I would probably get different things. Read more

Welcoming, comfortable yet high-end atmosphere. Our server was informative, attentive, and friendly. From the warm rosemary... bread, to the pasta, asparagus, and desserts - all were phenomenal. Portion sizes were perfect - not too big. 10/10 would highlyrecommend. Read more

It was absolutely wonderful!!! The first C-19 is "kinda" over.. restaurant visit, ; without a limited menu or unhappy, snappy... staff. In fact, the Manger made the rounds, checking on us..while praising and complimenting his staff. Everyone working therewas smiling and happy to help. The service was only rivaled by the delicious full menu. The pasta was homemade, as was theRicotta Cheese. Blanched Asparagus? pow!! PoW!! :) Here's a look a the decor. I have always heard great things about Sfoglina, and I was not disappointed on my visit. We went around 3:30/4pm so it wasn’t... too busy at the restaurant as yet. The customer service was excellent, warm and welcoming. We had the pomegranate 75 for thecocktail and it was just the right amount of tart and sweetness. We also had the garlic bread, the squid ink lobster linguineand the pappardelle pasta with ragu. They were all flavorful and well prepared. The pasta was the right texture and the sauceperfectly coated it. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and heightened the experience. I will definitely return to tryother dishes! Highly recommend. Sfoglina has been my go-to birthday dinner spot for the past several years. Last year was a to-go order because of the pandemic,... so this was my first time back inside the restaurant in about two years. They did not disappoint. They pulled out all of thestops with a very thoughtful glass of champagne to toast and a delicious apple vanilla gelato. The waitress and service wasfantastic. Every bite of food was incredible - better than ever. The fall squash seasonal special was my favorite. They toppedit off with a lovely handwritten note from Fabio - kind of cheesy but I love it. We celebrated our family matriarch's birthday in the restaurant's covered outdoor/indoor patio. The staff were absolutely... amazing, super attentive, and went above and beyond. We had Jennifer and Tim and quite a few other servers who helped supportour table of 20 or so people. The food was very well prepared and the drinks were delicious. We tried the calamari, the 72 hourshort rib and the branzino. The tiramisu was wetter than normal on the bottom and the espresso "spilled" off my spoon as I waseating it - due to the large quantity of espresso it was quite bitter on the bottom. It wasn't my favorite but it was stilltasty overall. The customer service was really the best and made our evening super special and that much more enjoyable. I heardthey have a wonderful brunch and can't wait to come back to try it! Read more
