Went there on 7/14/22 at about 11pm. First thing I wasn’t greeted at all when I entered the establishment. I ordered bbq wings... that I watched him dump in the deep fryer & tossed a little bbq sauce on them. I must say they were NASTY !! UPDATED REVIEW: My husband went to pick up our family meal as we’ve done a few times prior without issue. Only difference this... time is I didn’t pay online. When he went to pick up he realized the amount they were charging was about $5 more than theonline receipt. Not a huge deal but obviously you’d assume the store would honor the online price (which is exactly what wepaid the other times). They did not. And to add insult to injury, when my husband ask for the manager the woman at the registergave my husband the finger. While honestly I kind of find this reaction hilarious over $5 that shouldn’t have been charged. Atthis point my husband walked out and we got pizza next door. While I will miss the chicken, they need to get their stafftogether before I return. Original Review: Great food and a great value! We just tried this place for the first time thismonth and have ordered twice. The chicken is delicious and the sides are varied and plentiful. Came in this establishment for a to go order this past weekend. The person who took my order never made it a point to inform me... that my meal comes with drinks. I realized my bag had none and returned to the establishment after leaving already to ask for abag and was completely ignored. The individual working the late night weekend shift pretended as if I wasn’t present though heclearly heard and saw me as we were the only ones in the establishment at that moment. Food is okay at best but the service Ireceived that night 100% assured I would never be frequenting this business again though I have done so on numerous occasionsover time. A Tenleytown hole in the wall, this carryout produces the neighborhood’s best Peruvian chicken, succulent and perfectly... seasoned and cooked. The super platter is a half-chicken perfect for two; it comes with two side dishes. The fried yucca is aninteresting substitute for fried potatoes, but definitely try the fried plantains, they are fabulous. Read more

I ordered 1/4 dark meat dinner with red beans and rice and salad the chicken tastes old and had the hint of wet puppies smell. I... got black beans not red and that was bland and unsavory. And a mediocre salad most Peruvian restaurants give you nice portionsfor the same price and the food is packed with flavor not Crisp and Juicy terrible food I will never return even if it is freewaist of 11 dollars Read more
Food was alright. I ordered the manager special. Chicken was dry, yuca fries were tasteless. I wouldn't recommend eating here... again. If you are paying by credit card you are forced to use a touch screen. They refuse to take the order foe you. Read more
