Stopped for lunch on the patio looking out at the lake, great spot. The service was outstanding for being a little short... handed. Our waitress/host was on the move making sure every table was being looked after. She was good at her job! The foodwas excellent, portions are larger!! We split some sort of bowl thing that was large enough for both of us and we still hadlots of leftover. We will be back! Read more
Tried the enchiladas. Good flavor, however the rice was tasteless. Good service and a fun environment.
We were seated at the bar. The bartender was nice enough and the drinks were pretty good. It was date night and we had an... appetizer and relaxed a little bit. Once we ordered our dinner, we noticed how hot we were starting to get and that the waitstaff were all sweaty. It was a 90 degree day and I guess this place has no air conditioning or chooses not to turn it on?! Theplace felt like 100+ degrees and it probably was. There was a door propped open but that just caused there to be an excessivenumber of flies everywhere. We were assured multiple times that our food would "be right out" but waited OVER an HOUR for ourtwo dishes. And when the food came, it was not good. There was no sear to any of the meat, it was all just steamed and gray. Thetexture was off and the flavor was lacking everything. I took a few bites and was nauseous within two minutes. After nearly 2long hours in this place, our night abruptly ended because I was sick. Whether it was the heat, or the food, or a combination ofthe two, this place made me sick! The lake views would be really nice when the weather is good enough to sit outside. The food was okay. I did like the beans. The... sauce seemed to be from a can and it was really salty. Our waitress was friendly. The decor did not feel very much like aMexican restaurant. The booth was so low that it was tough to get out of after the meal. Read more
Not sure how anyone can give a negative review for Lakeside? Best service we've ever had. Fast drinks, fast appetizer and meals... were near per perfect. 3rd time here in 3 days and consistent. Love this place!! Read more

This place was absolutely phenomenal. As far as the outside, the entrance doesn?t scream ?eat here?, but you will regret not... trying the food. I speak this based on only the entryway. Outside on the patio has perfect spot for eating while enjoying aphenomenal view of the lake of course on a much warmer day. After going in the sign was a bit confusing stating to see thebartender if there isn?t a hostess ready and we were about to head that direction a lady came and helped us. Our waitress gets a10/10. We arrived before the dinner rush and received top notch service. Our waitress was making sure we were happy with ourfood choices, had great suggestions and made an effort to make sure we had what we needed without being over bearing. Is itjust me or do they usually pop over to the table right after you take a bite of food? Not ours!! ???? must have wanted to hearour honest opinion. My husband ordered the most delicious Mango Margarita while Iordered water, I know cliché, and coffee. The chips, salsa and queso were delish. The only downfall for me is when I asked forspicier salsa, they had a jalapeño purée, which wasn?t that spicy and wasn?t at all salsa. I however like quite a bit morespice than that. The fajitas were amazing. I order the taquitos and they are the best I?ve had! The plate display was greatand the taste was top-notch. We ended with fried ice cream. My husband collaborated with our waitress to have her put mywedding ring in the ice cream. I am already married but on kid five, with all the swelling I wasn?t able to wear my ring. It wasadorable!
