Very popular neighborhood Japanese restaurant in Chestnut Hill. Lots of different sushi. We ordered the City Combo which came... with miso soup. And the Mama Miso Roll. Both delicious and would order again. Nice ambience. Friendly and attentive staff.Definitely will return. Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed a Saturday evening meal here. I ordered the Mama Miso roll. Excellent! My sister ordered the City Combo... (sushi). Another excellent choice! Just so you know - be prepared to wait somewhat for your sushi dishes. They have a busytakeout business as well as in person dining. But it's worth the wait! Service excellent, the food styraphone containers for rice is cheap presentation. The rice was not fluffy and vegetables cheap... full of corn and carrots. I will avoid the rice moving forward, but the avocado salad was good. Read more

A cozy well designed Japanese restaurant, good food quality. They have happy hour until 3pm except on Sundays. They have sushi... and sashimi which comes with miso soup as well as Korean dishes such as Bibimbab. I will for sure go back. Read more

Me and my family have been coming to this amazing restaurant for 20+ years and we love the staff and the owners and the food.... Kenny and his staff really are amazing and they know us when we come in so it?s really a relaxing and welcoming restaurant thateveryone who enjoys good food should go to and even try if you have never tried. Customer service was nice, had to wait a bit when I went to pick-up the food. It was jammed packed with takeout orders and... seemed a bit overwhelmed with balancing tasks. Ordered the chicken curry, Kimchi pancakes, beef Japche, and chicken Pad Tai.All were mediocre, but the pancakes were burnt and seemed "wimpy".
