Went to the Sand Dollar for dinner, started with the chips and dip. It was slow to come out--but was delicious so no biggie. Our... server, James T. was awesome!! Went behind the bar to hunt down a color changing cup for me.. the best! Veggie burger was prettygood, too. We will be back! Read more
Quite easily the worst breakfast I've ever had. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich was comprised of a frozen egg thingy served on an... untosted raw English muffin with cheese whiz. "Belgin waffles" are nothing more than lightly toasted Frozen Costco waffles. Read more
First trip, we took a friend who was here visiting from the west coast. We loved the decor and vibe. Good selections on the... menu. We weren't excited about the service. Our guest has a lot of food allergies and had several questions, I'm sure if youaren't confident in how things are prepared, this can be troublesome. A few questions were asked and our server simply didn'treturn. My wife had to find another server and ask her to get our server to return, ( by this point two of us had alreadyemptied our drinks). This was after two other tables next to us and patrons at the bar, all of whom came after us, were able toplace their orders. We considered walking out but stayed. The food was good. Although I did order onion rings which were just afew seconds shy of burned. I ordered the Sunburned Chicken not knowing the burned description would apply to the side. May comeback as our selections were good, but not off to a good start. Read more
Pros: Friendly and quick Cons: Dirty and below average food The staff was very friendly. Seems like this would be a great... lively bar but we came for Sunday breakfast. The food unfortunately I would only enjoy after 3 or 4 drinks. The bagels barelywarmed let alone toasted. The lox was very pungent indicating it was old. Bacon seemed microwaved. I had lox bagel, she hadbacon, egg and cheese bagel. We both only ate a few bites. The classic fruit bowl was good, however. Condiment bowl, saltshakers, windows, floors, high chairs (especially bad), all pretty filthy. Lots of flies (house and fruit/drain) around. Read more
If you want a beach themed restaurant with plenty of character then this is your place. All the staff were friendly and the... place is clean. Plenty of options for Brunch or Lunch. They also have an extensive adult beverage menu. We made plans withmanagement for our party of 36, but they only assigned one waitress. She quickly got the water out and took our orders. It was ahot day and the waters were not refilled. Some of the food (fried cauliflower) came out to quick and was cold in the middle. Thewings were overdone and dry. My California Cobb Salad was good. The plates weren't cleared and then the wind started blowingeverything over. I will have to come back at another time to see if they can properly service a table for 2. Hopefully we canupdate the review and add a star. Read more

After following this restaurant on FB, my sister and I decided to meet there for lunch. It is so cute! We felt like we had just... walked off the OBX Beach Road. It was a Tuesday and they offered many Taco Tuesday specials. We ordered Mahi and Shrimp tacosand margaritas. The tacos were delicious! Very fresh and the pickled red onion and sauce were perfect. Our drinks wererefreshing and the alcohol wasn?t overwhelming. Definitely eating here again! We loved the outdoor seating too. Read more
