I took my mom here for her birthday this last weekend and from the moment we walked up to the door it exceeded our expectations.... We didn’t use the valet because there was easy and close parking but the gentleman working valet made sure to open the doorfor us. We were greeted with smiles and checked in for our 7:30 reservation. I left a comment when I made the reservations thatit was my moms birthday and it was communicated through all the staff that we encountered and everyone told her happy birthdaythroughout the night. We were sat upstairs in one of the round tables and it was very comfortable. Adam our server went aboveand beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. He explained the menu, and the specials for the night. He didn’t rush us, ortry to push anything. It was also the last playoff game of the Cardinals and since I couldn’t see the TV in the bar area - heeven kept me updated on the game! (Which was very much appreciated so I didn’t have to keep checking my phone!) The steaks andsides were wonderful, melt in your mouth filets paired with great wine selections. Top Tier food & service. The pictures are from earlier this year but we have been back a few times since. If you are dinning in... for a special occasion they put rose petals on your table making you feel extra special. Or going for a happy hour is so fun!The happy hour menu and deals are great. This is my second time here and unfortunately it just wasn’t a good experience for my 13th wedding anniversary. I tried to... keep a smile on my face but I was not happy. First, my husband and myself had a 5:30pm reservation. We are always early andarrived at 5:15pm. We were told it would be a minute, ok fine we are early anyway. Three more couples/groups came in after usand also had a 5:30pm reservation. One group was seated before us then the second mind you, the second group had to wait onsomeone and was still seated before us. I approached the hostess and asked why were they being seated before us when we werethere first and we all had the same 5:30pm reservation. She stated it wouldn’t be long, ok fine. The last couple was finallyseated before us and I wanted to leave right then and there because I’m not going to lie, in that moment I felt maybe it hadsomething to do with the color of our skin being the only black couple standing there. We were finally seated and waited about10minutes before our waitress arrived. She was at another table but once again no one came up to introduce themselves and to letus know they will be with us shortly as she was walking back and forth tending to the other tables. Once again, was it a racething. When our waitress finally came her service was ok but we did get charged for a soda we never got and my husband was justover it that he didn’t even want to object to it. Our waitress kept informing us that if we needed to use “our gift cards”that she would have to check us out at the station. Why was the need to keep asking about gift cards as to say we would only beable to eat there by using gifts cards. That we couldn’t possibly be paying out of pocket. But, she was Still left a $50 tipon top of a $233.00 bill. We were just over it and was ready to leave. Food was amazing. Started with the seafood appetizer and wow. They have 2 different size options we chose the small since we... both had large main courses. Which i think was perfect. We took another couple out for their 30th anniversary and were blown away by the entire experience. We had been to the Clayton... site before it closed but all 4 of us loved everything here from the atmosphere, to the service and food. Outstandingservice...Shannon (our waiter) was off the chain great..he never missed a beat! He was predictive to our every need, polite,courteous snd funny. Excellent food... Truly every dish was cooked to perfection, and still sizzling when brought it to thetable. I had the tomahawk steak (ordered medium), sauteed in butter and shrimp...every bite was an explosion of flavors in mymouth! My.steak was a little on the rare side of medium but definitely a great piece of meat. Is it worth $135 well the 4 out of5 rating says it all I think. Atmosphere... We ate upstairs after requesting to be away from others, they were more thanaccommodating. The whole place is well designed, semi intimate. Slow but friendly service. Took about 40 minutes to get our check after we let our server know we were ready. Food was very good... but not for the price. At the same tier I prefer Michael Jordan's in Chicago and Bern's in Tampa. Both have better steaks andvastly superior service. Read more

I brought my family to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful decor. It has a limited selection... during brunch. The service is average. The steak is well cooked but a little salty. The salmon is delicious. Their food isbetter than most of the restaurant but they are mediocre when comparing to same caliber restaurant like Annie Gunn's Restaurantor 801 Chophouse. Read more
