Atmosphere is a really great setting to chill with family, friends, your boo thing, or side thing also a setting if you're... dining solo. The food is is very presentable and taste is explosive to your pallet(taste buds) some of the best crunchy beef???? I've ever had. The staff are just out right phenomenal people, very nice and accommodating to your needs( I tip them reallywell). The liquor selection is great and a way to enjoy sports with others at the bar or a table. It's really a welcomeing lowkey but popping vibe A+ in my book. Read more
El Troquero is a family-owned restaurant with outstanding service. They immediately greet you with smiles and a basket of warm... chips and homemade salsa. The salsa is "family friendly" (mild) and they have hot sauce on the table so you can turn up the heatas you desire. They have a large menu. Ask the servers which dishes they recommend. Some of our favorites are the chickenfajitas, pork tacos, chicken enchiladas and the homemade soups! Like the salsa, the soup broths are mild but flavorful. Theyserve tobacco peppers, chopped onion, cilantro and lime on the side so you can season the soup to your taste! The portions aregenerous and the food comes out fast and hot. The servers are attentive and efficient. The restaurant is always clean and theatmosphere is casual. We never feel rushed at the end of our meal. El Troquero is located in the Schnuck's Hilltown Plaza. Thereis always ample parking. They have a few tables outside, a bar, and lots of TVs so you don't have to miss the game! I stopped in for lunch. The waiter that took my order was friendly. The food was good. I ordered fajitas and they came out on... a regular plate instead of the usual metal plate. My food was brought out by a different waiter, which was fine but neitherwaiter came to check on me until well after I was finished eating. The waiter that brought my food out did have the time tocheck on the table next to me multiple times without stopping by my table to make sure everything was ok. Read more
Absolute favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere near Chesterfield! This place is fantastic and has great prices. Highly recommend... you try it at least once! I've never eaten in the store, always ordered To-go and my food is still delicious. And it has to beeven better fresh. Read more

I am from out of state and was craving Mexican food and this restaurant was really close to my hotel. The restaurant is very... clean and cozy, I loved the atmosphere. The food was so delicious! I got the beef chimichanga and the meat was excellent qualityand so full of flavor it made each bite a delight. The cheese sauce on the top was an added bonus to the flavor. Wish I livedcloser. This is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and our waiter Jose was... very attentive. The owner, Alfredo, came by and asked how everything was and he was awesome. I would highly recommend thisrestaurant to everyone. The margaritas were the best!
