Let me start out by saying over the past several months we have enjoyed Marker 37. It has been our ?go to? for cocktails and... apps when we think of places to go. Over the summer we have spent many a delightful afternoon on the patio enjoying theatmosphere, service and music-until yesterday! We met friends, who had driven almost an hour, because we had mentioned what agreat venue you had. Marker 37 did not disappoint until after almost over hour into our ordering food and another round ofdrinks we were informed we were up against our ?90 minute time limit?. We had just put in another food order and when we askedour server, she said we could sit at the picnic tables or walk round-and that would be fine if we were in our 20?s and 30?s!! We were NEVER informed when we sat down. This was somewhat embarrassing for us and our guests, not to mention a poor reflectionof management. Shelly, the manager spoke to us and reiterated we could use the picnic tables, walk around, or hang by the bar.She excused this by saying it was not communicated to the hostesses correctly but that is your problem, not the paying customerswho wish to eat, drink listen to music and spend our money. Based her comment how negative reviews have an impact, we feltcompelled to let you know. Very disappointing for an establishment such as yours. We will think long and hard where we nextspend our dollars for an afternoon of entertainment. Read more
We came here for a lunch on Friday and had a good meal. We were able to get a table outside and the food and drinks were good!... The service was a bit chaotic at times, but all the servers were friendly. Read more
New restaurant on the CT River. Wonderful menu filled with a variety of dishes and specials. Had the spring rolls and then the... clam chowder which is absolutely delicious loaded with chunks of clams (but not enough of them), potatoes (plenty of them), witha dash of jalapeño . Chef Dave Saunders has put together a selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts that are some ofthe best in the region. Eat inside in a modern maritime design or on their enclosed porch with beautiful views of the river.This is a place that was sorely needed in the area. Read more

Let me start with saying the food met all expectations for taste, however the serving sizes were lacking for the price. The beef... Wellington app was great but for 3 small pieces for $14 is insane. The big issue was the service. We were thrown menus when wegot there, there were more empty tables than full tables. We ordered apps and drinks at the same time. After a very long wait wegot out app before our drink and seemed like we had to remind our waiter we were waiting on drinks. We asked our server about afew of the dishes we got an I don?t know answer and ?the chicken is marinated in salt? I think.? We passed on that dish. Onceour entree order was taken we never saw our server again until he came over without saying anything and dropped a dessert menuon our table. We were absolutely looking for dessert and another round of drinks but by that time we were so fed up with theservice we left and visited another venue for dessert and drinks. Can?t say I?d recommend and don?t think I?d be back. There areplenty of other local spots that have similar quality food for less and much better service. Read more
Appealing atmosphere! Beautiful new location on the river next to the Chester Point Marina. No reservations, stopped in for... lunch. The servers here are just wonderful, food and drinks delicious. We sat on the riverfront patio and enjoyed the breezyview with our delicious drinks and lunch. Must try! Will return, Would recommend :) :) :) :) Read more
We stopped here on our way home from RI. Beautiful location. The breeze off the river made you forget how hot it was out. The... chowder was delicious, so was the lobster roll and grilled veggie flat bread. Our server was fun and attentive. We will be backoften . Read more
8.27.22 This is a picture perfect venue for outdoor dining in CT. Folks were dressed nice and the place has a great energy and... vibe. Parking can be tricky but be patient. The views are worth it. Read more
