Best iced Mocha I've ever had! Very reasonable price as well. Delicious Ghirardelli chocolate is the one I had today, but lots... of other drinks and pastries, breakfast, lunch to choose from. WOW talk about FLAVOR!!! I?m a pretty picky breakfast gal, and the Soy Chorizo Hash was out of this world good! Also had the... Oatmilk Chai & that was quite rich in the best way. Unfortunately I?m just passing through on the PCT but if I was in the areaagain I?d definitely be swinging back by here :) fast & great service too! What more could you want?? Read more
A magical little spot in Chester, CA. My wife and I enjoyed a black coffee with our breakfast (Rusty Roof Coffee). I'm told that... it was local roster. I was tempted to take advantage of the free refills! We really loved the attached bookstore and thegorgeous atmosphere. I enjoyed one of their corned beef dishes, made with their own home made corned beef, while my wife enjoyeda wonderful goat cheese and spinach scramble. Tucked away in the indoor window seating made for a wonderful little stop in themountains. If you get the chance, we encourage a visit! Read more

Stopped in for breakfast, it was our first time here. The place was packed, 4th of July weekend and several large groups. The... staff was great even with how busy it was. We had the bacon waffle, the soCal scramble and the settlers dish. Everything wasdelicious. Very filling, large portion sizes. I really enjoyed that they displayed artists work for sale. Stayed in Chester for work and ended up going here multiple mornings. Christi was frequently working the restaurant by herself... and was nothing but friendly, fast, and efficient with our group of 8. The coffee is delicious and the food is quality and comesout fast! Highly recommend. (The restaurant is attached to a cool bookstore/gift shop but it was never "open" while we ate.However, Christi was still kind enough to sell me a book on behalf of the owner.)
