Awesome restaurant! Crab Cakes were tasty! Fries and coleslaw both were fresh! Crab dip aims to please! Crab quesadilla was... excellent! Also had two fried crab cake sandwiches in our party which were top notch also! We sat at a window table with abreathtaking view of the water ! Love the atmosphere! Best seafood restaurant I have ever eaten. Server was excellent considering we were an extremely large group. Had combination of... steam pots and female crabs and was all delicious, fresh and well seasoned. Would absolutely recommend. Read more
Their small/medium mixed blue crabs are as big as some places' large crabs. Delicious. Hush puppies were awesome. Crab cakes... were pretty much as full of meat as they could get while still holding together. Service was excellent. Pricey, but worth everypenny! Read more
Last week I celebrated my 50th birthday with family and friends at Abners Crab house. Despite the rain, I had a great time. The... manager Michelle was so nice, gracious and absolutely wonderful. She made sure my experience at the establishment was a time toremember. Michelle made sure that we had a inside section waiting just in case we had to move inside from the Tiki bar, which wedid because of the rain. Our tiki bar bartender - Brit was the best. She helped us set up and even remembered everyone's name.She didn't have to do that. Brit is the best bartender I've ever come across. The DJ had me dancing all night and the drinks(let's just say, we all slept good that night)! Love Abner's!! Oh and the food was so so so good. (Whole crabs, crab legs,chicken wings, fried fish) yum! We visited Abners twice while vacationing Chesapeake Beach. The place would remind you of a cafeteria, not much ambiance. So you... go here for the seafood, which very fresh. The portions are pretty large, the sweetened ice tea is great! We got an UltimatePot, which was yummy! Half dozen crabs, soft shell crabs, snow crab meal, and crab cake. Bonnie, our first waitress, was sosweet! And Isa (or Lisa), our 2nd waitress, was very nice. All kind, thorough, and good check up timing. However, I want tomention, both times we went we saw and heard a woman, who appeared to be the Manager. Which was confirmed by a staff member. While she BARKED at every single employee, In front of customers - She Never asked any patron, how was their meal. How isthat? She was overly concerned with what each person was doing, she was loud, sounded harsh, and was in the middle of therestaurant!! I guess her employees are used to her rude, management style. Read more
