I went Wawa on November 21, 2022 to get me a Chocolate Chip Cappuccino. When I saw who was behind the counter I came very close... to walking out and going to another WaWa. I say this because the person behind the counter I had had trouble with getting thesame item I purchased yesterday and someone else had to make it. The person behind the counter made a mistake again and when I said something instead of him fixing the mistake he continued to the next three customers and when he handed the customerstheir items he looked right at me like he didnt care. I went and complained on him. When I was waiting another customer and I were talking and he said he had trouble with the same person. When the customer received what he had brought the cups were allmessy. The person behind the counter is rude and doesnt care. Read more

Hair in the pasta.. disappointed since normally wawa is pretty on point. Even though accidents happen.. it?s just gross

I was just at wawa on kempsville road in Chesapeake and they have jacked up the price of gas 16 cents a gallon. That's... ridiculous and the 7-11 across the street is $3.99. Wawa is now $4.15 a gallon and it makes no sense at all. When they were lastat that price oil was $130 a barrel. Not even close to that now. That's price gouging and they do it just because they can!! Tobe fair all gas stations do it and that's just wrong. The price of gas should have been $2.00 a gallon or less when the price ofoil dropped $40. That is if the gas stations would drop the price as fast as they go up. Every time I order curb-side delivery from the app, I've had to go in and get it because they never bring it out. This time I... thought I knew better, so I ordered in store pickup. When I walked in 15 minutes after ordering, there was a shelf with a gianthanging sign above it saying paid online orders should be picked up here. It was empty. I waited another 20 minutes and watchedpeople walk in, order on the touch screen, pay, and walk out with food while no one put my order out. Had I not already paid Iwould have just left to eat elsewhere. After my wife came from the car to check on me, I got fed up and asked the cashier. Sheseemed annoyed despite having no one in line. She called a guy from the back who also seemed annoyed, and handed me my orderhidden behind a counter. I asked him what the purpose of the sign and pickup shelf was, and he acted like he had just completedthe order despite that I just watched him appear from elsewhere in the store, as if to explain why my order and at least oneother was sitting behind the counter, not in the pickup spot. Had I not bothered the cashier, I probably would have stood therean hour. Just a cherry on top, he told me the muffin that the app allowed me to order was not available, and I just decided notto deal with it as I was annoyed, hungry and it wasn't worth any more of my time. Such wonderful hospitality from the night shift. I get a late night lunch for my best friend who works overnight at Walmart and... supper for myself when I'm done driving for Uber, and I have practically become a regular here within the past month. We enjoyour little conversations and they always make sure I leave happy! ???? Read more

I honestly don?t care for the day shift customer service but the night shift/ overnight is AMAZING. They genuinely seem happy... when people come in and you can tell everybody works well together and helps each other out. They make me feel special everytime I come in and remember my name and my orders. From someone who has worked an overnight shift before I know it?s defdraining and boring so shout out to them for making it look easy! Read more
