Waited to review this place after a couple visits. The wait is always dreadful, even when you order ahead. I understand when a... place is understaffed or you didn't order ahead but this is ridiculous sometimes. And if you don't have a coupon or there's nota special running don't expect a cheap meal. Also make sure to check that your order is accurate and that you haveeverything. I learned I have to ask for sauces at the window because you won't get them otherwise. So if you need sauces toenjoy your meal make sure to ask them at the window. Those things being said, the quality of the food is almost always reallygood. Everything is hot and tasty and fresh. I think I might like their sides more than their chicken sometimes though! Thechicken is good but those sides really make the meal. Fun tip when it comes to their tenders and red beans and rice, if you havetortillas and shredded cheese at home they make a bangin' wrap. Similar to the one they used to carry years ago, only downsbeing that your tortillas probably aren't made with cheese. The sweet tea is just how I like it and super sweet. If you don'tlike tea as sweet, maybe ask for half sweet half unsweet if they have it. Or avoid it all together. Despite the negative thingsI had to say about this place I'll probably still come back because the quality really can't be beat. Just a few things to workon and this place would 5 stars, EASY. Love popeyes.i this k they have the best chicken anywhere. My favorite is there red beans and rice. I can't find much fault with... them. My only complaint is some times they run out of some of there sides. Read more
Went there for a quick lunch (take-out) and ordered a combo meal with an extra side. When I got home I discovered they did not... give it to me. Tried calling the store at the number listed on the receipt and got a message that it was invalid. The samenumber that is listed on the Internet. My advice, double check your order before you leave the restaurant. Read more
Popeyes in Chesapeake Va on Debaun Loop Customer Service does not exist....employees rude. Every car in drive thru was parked,... total of 14+ cars at one point. The place just opened for lunch and you have no food ready.....why even open. Waited an hourfor a apple pie after being told they would be ready in 5 minutes. They would not give me a refund, even though I had notreceived any food. They will never have to worry about me or my friends going back to this location. One of the worse runbusinesses I have encountered. Find another Popeyes that treat customers with respect and runs efficiently. Do not suppose thisfranchise on Debaun Loop in Chesapeake...you will regret it. Read more
It's Popeyes so you already know what it taste like. The food isn't why I decided to write a review. That's because this is the... fastest Popeyes in the seven cities. They rarely have a wait or a line. And no matter what I order they have it ready in what isactual a very reasonable amount of time. With little to no wait. Every other Popeyes in the area makes you wait 15 to 20 minutesfor chicken after waiting that long to order. So thanks you Popeyes staff at this location. Please keep up the great work. Read more
Staff unfriendly and heard them arguing about what that extra $4 charge on our order was, told it was 4$ up charge for all dark... meat (never heard that before but whatever and since the other person was confused about it pretty sure that means we wereripped off) and still didn?t put all dark meat ???? joke of a Popeyes and a ripoff Edit: 2 pieces are white meat.
