First, I am beyond grateful for this establishment, especially extending my gratitude to the co-owner who I had the pleasure of... meeting today. I never expected to find anything like this in the United States. I am currently only here in Virginia for ashort amount of time, and my cats are still residing in Japan. I miss them dearly and I really needed a cat fix. With that said,in Japan, I visited many amazing cat cafés. This is my first time at a cat café in the United States and Kitty Kingdomdelivers. 3 spacious rooms; enough to grab a drink and one cat and one kitten room. They have plently of space to roam around,play, sleep etc. The cats are super happy and friendly. Some are more shy than others but to anyone who knows cats, we know thatcats have very individualized personalities. What really impressed me about this place is how clean everything is! This is notan easy task with a lot of cats around, but the staff does an incredible job to keep everything clean and in good shape.Absolutely no clutter around and very new furniture for the cats. Air is nice and cool despite the summer heat and humidityoutside. It is overwhelmingly obvious that the staff care very much about their cats well-being. The staff are absolutelywonderful people. I had some great conversations with them and they love their job. I would work here myself if I could fit itin my current schedule. I would even adopt a cat from here if I was permanently in Virginia. I with full trust wouldn't have asingle issue adopting a cat from here. They are once again, very well taken care of! There are rules to follow, but any matureperson would know that these rules express safety for not only yourself but also for the cats. I cannot say enough about thisplace. If you like cats, or even if you know someone who doesn't, there is no doubt that this place would change their minds.Looking forward to continually visiting here for the remainder of my time in VA. Staff was super friendly and so were the cats! Cats greet you at the door, jump in your lap making it hard to leave. Owner works... diligently to screen applications while even taking in new kitties. Info books available for all available to adopt. Very easyto book online Read more
We had a nice time. The establishment is very clean and definitely didn't smell like cats were there ????. Cat litter can be... ?????????, but it wasn't the case here. Kids are allowed, but as a mom who decided to go with her three sons under 5 (one in astroller), I'd recommend taking older kiddos, and keeping the youngers behind (unless of course they can use walking feet, quietvoices, and sit and let the cats come to them ????????). My boys were energetic and incredibly excited which made the rules abit challenging, but we worked through it, and we left with some good takeaways. I wanted to expose my kids to cats and see ifwe could possibly adopt in the months to come, after our move. Unfortunately, after we left, my kids showed signs of beingallergic. So sadly, cats won't be in the cards for our family. Some beautiful cats and kittens are at kitty kingdom. Irecommend to anyone interested in rescuing and gaining some fur children. ???? Read more

Such an amazing and cozy place! Great pricing, tasty food, kind staff. Petting cats is cheaper and more effective than therapy... if you ask me.
