Once again, I wanted to try a new to me place. I had the Dan Dan noodles with the spicy wontons. The noodles were listed on the... menu as spicy. Normally, with spicy food, you can see red chili peppers. These noodles were deceiving because they did not lookspicy. They were EXTRA spicy. I love spice, but this was SPICY. Do not underestimate the spice level. Lol! The wonton were, ofcourse, spicy as well, but not overly spicy even though they were bathed in chili oil. They offer regular potstickers aswell. I was shocked to see pork chitterlings on the menu. I have never seen that on a menu. I would visit this restaurantagain, but I will try something other than the Dan Dan Noodles. Read more

The staff is lovely and attentive and the portions are HUGE without sacrificing quality and flavor. Their hot chili brought me... back to the real deal Sichuan restaurants in London. Its a must for locals the price is what surprised me the most, if you lookat the menu it isnt but maybe 4/5 dollars more than any fast Chinese restaurant and its more food, better quality for a greatprice. Always great food and service! Scallion pancakes, spring rolls, and fried rice are always fantastic. General Tso's chicken and... spare ribs are delicious, too! Read more

Our family typically enjoys Judy's, I just wouldn't recommend going Friday or Saturday night. We went last Saturday and they... were packed. The hostess REFUSED to sit us until our entire party was physically in the restaurant and was very rude even aftereveryone had arrived. Our server told us after we sat down that we couldn't order any of the "hot pot" items because there weretoo many people in the restaurant and the steam would make it too hot inside (not kidding). We ordered two appetizers, scallionpancakes, and our server did not return to take our order until our appetizers were cooked. The scallion pancakes were denseand had little to no scallions at all. Both pancakes tasted like the oil used to cook them was old and needed to be tossed out. Eventually, about 45 minutes later, our food came out and was decent. Again, we enjoy Judy's and will be back, but not on abusy evening. Read more

Judy's Sichuan is by far the most amazing Chinese cuisine I've ever eaten. They know how to prepare and serve duck, ox, and... lamb. The duck was delicious and not gamey. The ox was tender with the perfect amount of spices. And the lamb was succulent.Their restaurant is very inviting, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this Chinese over any others in the HamptonRoads area Read more

Good food, but slow service. Maybe they?re really busy but not an excuse to serve orders one at a time with about 15-minute... between each dishes. One order came in after everyone is finished eating except for one person. Good thing is we?re not in ahurry. I?ll probably be back when they are not that busy for a full experience. Best general tsos chicken I believe. Read more

This is a special szechuan cooking! Spicy dishes are good with the style of cooking at this family restaurant. I may suggest the... peking duck and it is quite exquisite. Aot different from the traditional Cantonese or Mandarin peking duck style. Check it out! Read more
