I ordered online for curbside pick up. My order was due to be done and ready at 7:59am. I arrived at the store and called at... 8am. The man who answered the phone said they didn't have a spot to park in and he didn't have the staff to bring my food out.He also stated he was not done preparing part of it. I explained I was not dressed to go inside as it was supposed to becurbside. He dragged out answering like this was my problem to fix and said he would have to figure out someone bringing it tome, but couldn't tell me how long that would take. My mother decided to go in and a few minutes later came out with oursandwiches. They had not even started on the donut order. Not only were there no customers waiting in the store there were 3staff members. Clearly the shift lead didn't have staffing issues so much as an inability to effectively time manage. The manwas running around the store wiping things down and making coffee. The girl making other orders was able to finish 2 dozendonuts in the time it took the girl making our order to finish just 1 dozen. Probably because the girl making ours was airingher dirty laundry out for the entire establishment. I don't have any issues with staff members having conversations, but whendiscussing your boyfriend issues and shopping plans gets in the way of doing your job its a problem. Our sandwiches were cold bythe time we got our donuts. The order was finally complete 20 minutes late. Read more

They make great donuts for sure. I just have a favorite back home (Mebane NC). I love their donuts better. (NC Jelly Donuts). ... They cannot get five stars if there is another I like better. Sorry! The coffee was so good. You don't need sugar in yourcoffee here. Skip Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme and give these a try. They are made to order at Duck Donuts. It is awesomewhen places take food to the next level. Read more

Only Reviewing Milkshake... My review and score are not a reflection of Duck Donuts staff, the donuts, or atmosphere appeal.... Absolutely adorable building, with vibrant colors that give off a So. Cal. Beachy vacation vibe! Staff was friendly andattentive. Due to this being my first experience, and not at all knowing , what to expect, my palet was not ready for such asweet treat. After reviewing the clever and beautifully dressed donuts, I just decided on a simple Milkshake. ChocolateMilkshake. I actually make them at home this same way, vanilla ice cream, some hersheys squirted, topped with whipped cream anddrizzle, so I expected a lot more, something different, unique to Duck Donuts, if just for simple chocolate. The shake was over$6, and even though it was the only item on my receipt, the length of my receipt and shake were comparable in size... Arby's,even mcd's, beats Duck Donuts in taste, quality, quantity, and overall value for your dollar. I was expecting something largerthan a coke can, and a different recipe than making a Milkshake with some ingredients i have around the house. Cute place, Ihope to return when I have a serious sweet tooth for some donuts! Read more

From my daughter: ?I announce this Duck Donuts donut a solid 8/10. This donut was generously and evenly coated in cinnamon... sugar. Additionally, it had a nice dallop of peaches and cream on the top if it. Despite being an uncommon combination for adonut, it was most definitely delicious. The sweet taste of the cinnamon sugar was balanced out with the refreshing peaches andcream on the top, which is ultimately a good thing, for overly sweet donuts are far too bold for my liking. Furthermore, thetexture of the donut was absolutely superb. The outside was firm enough to hold without having to fret about it collapsing inyour hands like a badly made Sloppy Joe sandwich. The middle of the donut was soft to the touch, allowing the chewing of thedonut to be easy and smooth. However, despite the mouthwatering, finger-licking aspects of this wonderful donut, it was rathermessy. The coating of the brown sugar would get stuck to my lips and fingertips, which caused discomfort after each bite. Moreover, the peaches and cream on top of the donut fell off every now and then after biting into it, which caused me to have topick it up with my already messy cinnamon sugar coated fingertips. The untidiness is what drops ranking from a 10/10 to an 8/10;however, it was not enough to say it was a donut that I did not enjoy. Overall, ?twas a lovely donut. I would in fact eat againand recommend.? Read more
