This is a great Movie Theater, it was clean and best of all the seats were so comfortable. The rows were very spacious making it... easy to fully recline your seat & relax. I was so relaxed that I actually dozed off while watching the movie. The service wasfast and the food & snacks were the most reasonably priced that I?ve ever had at the movies. Who would have thought that I?dhave to come all the way to Virginia to find reasonable price movie Food & snacks. It was honestly a great first timeexperience. The only drawback was that the ladies room had a long line & reeked of urine, otherwise I would have given thistheatre 5 stars. Read more

I usually go to the other cinema cafe... on kempsville and this was my 1st time here but the service just wasn't up to par. Not a bad movie theater. Very good selection of food and drinks that you can enjoy during the movie. Reclining chairs are very... nice quality. Staff tries very hard here to accommodate everyone's order. It seemed a bit understaffed so just be patient whenwaiting for food. Its worth it because everything was really good! I had a good experience here. The staff were quick to come to my chair and get my food and serve. The Men?s restroom was clean... with a nice touch of movie posters on the stalls. Popcorn was a 10 and fresh. My ONLY complaint is the noisy chairs. Althoughthey are comfortable, it?s kinda annoying to constantly hear super loud fart sounds as people recline back and forth through theentire movie. Not only is it annoying but distracting. Perhaps a tiny bit of space between the seats would help. But I still hada good time. Read more

The only reason I did not give a 5 was the lack of healthy food choices and the lack of a soda popcorn combo with free refills... of soda. But honestly, I didn't expect healthy. The seats were very comfortable, nice improvement over regular tables andchairs. After eating we could recline in comfort. Staff was friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable about the food choices. Ourtheater was clean, no crunchy, sticky floors. Bathrooms were not bad before the show and better right after the show. I thinkthey got cleaned during my movie. Read more

I've been going to this location for some time now. The food is on par with bar food, probably a little better than most bar... food (mostly frozen food that's fried up). Service is usually pretty good but can be hit and miss sometimes. The sound qualityis ok but not a deal breaker. (I've noticed theaters are better than others. For instance we recently saw Jurassic world here intheater 4 (or 2,I can't recall) and the sound was very tinny and not really much bass. But other times, I've seen movies and thesound is really good. Seats are comfy but the tables are really small. I do miss the old set up but understand they need tomodernize. Like most other theatres these days, all seats are reservation only, which I like. Food recommendations.... Sobefore covid, like many other restaurants, their menu had items they don't sell anymore. My favorite things to get were thebreaded fried shrimp. It was pretty good. But unfortunately, they don't have those anymore. Their pizza is not bad and they havea good deal where you get pizza, popcorn, and a pitcher of whatever. The only problem now is the tables are so small, there'snot enough room for everything, so that can get a little tricky figuring out where to put the pizza, the pitcher, the glasses,the popcorn and still have room to eat. I've also had their gyro before but I don't recall if that is even still on the menu.It was awhile ago so not sure. I also recommend the draft root beer. The speed at which you can grab a reservation is only as slow as you are. Great new recliner seats in all theaters, food is... about the same, but kids just want cheese pizza and popcorn. Great price points. Will be able to see more movies in comfortnow. Kudos. Read more

I hadn't been to this location in a long time. I love Cinema Cafe and honestly won't see a movie at any other theater. I really... hate the individual trays on the loungers though. I preferred the tables. It made it much easier on families with smaller kidswhen it came to food and space. Two of the 3 loungers we were in weren't very comfortable. The servers were great. And the foodis still the same. The picture quality in this particular theater didn't seem that great. Read more
