I?m not one to usually leave reviews but I?m sorry this place was disgusting! The miso soup was awful no Tofu and it had an odd... smell and taste to it. Then we got the calamari like a total of 5 pieces and they had absolutely no flavor! Then the sushi wellmy son said the salmon was like they injected water into it, super watery everything was just gross! I ordered a soda the nicewoman filled it 3/4 full and never gave me a refill my son asked for a refill she literally filled his empty cup half full! Thento top it all off it was ridiculously expensive we paid $60 for 2 rolls and 2 soups and calamari I really wish I took a pictureof the calamari what a joke! And the grand finale was she actually chargerd me $14.99 for a roll that was supposed to be $12.99I even checked the website after to confirm that I was over charged! Pretty good sushi and service! However, I would recommend they get new menus with updated prices or the servers inform the... customers beforehand. The manger told us of the price change after we had eaten. And by then I think my hand roll went from $7to $11. If would?ve known, I would?ve just got another roll lol. Other than that, it was good. I give a one star because it was over priced. Had 2 rolls, 3 12oz beers and a large hot saki. It cost me $80 bucks. I usually go... to darumaya in Beaumont. Great sushi. Get 2 rolls, 2 small hot sakis and 2 22oz beers and for only $40 bucks!! Honestly thisplace didn't even ask what size I wanted the saki or the beer. Just served it. The sushi was ok but Darumaya was better. I liketo try sushi places and compare but never again will I come here. Sushi for one shouldn't be $80 dollars. I truly think she upthe prices on me. Sad cause that's not how you keep customers. I don't see many negative reviews that's why I'm very surprisedon my experience. Oh well hope you have a better experience. Eat here at your own risk. *Photo is receipt of Darumaya. Sake is 3bucks for a small, large may be 6 so my 80 dollar bill here doesn't add up. The food is very good. What is not good is that the woman who waited on us (we think she is the owner) told us that the prices... on the menus were not right! When I asked her what the price was for the sushi/sashimi combination was she said she would haveto check and let me know! The price on the menu was $19.95 and when she came back she said it was $24.95-a 25% increase! Myhusband wanted to order the Dragon Roll which was $12.95 on the menu and she said that it was now $14.95. We were hungry andremembered that the food was good so we both ordered and also a glass of wine each. No price on the menu for the wine but it wasTuesday night and beverages are 1/2 price on Tuesdays. It was surely box wine and the regular price is $9.95 a glass which isreally crazy!!! They need to have prices on the menu, always changes 1 order of yellowtail charged $10 Menu $4.95
