Just left RC Cherokee after a six party dinner to celebrate a birthday. Including tip, we spent almost $1000. Dinner started at... 4:30 (that was the only reservation we could get for dinner, so it started early, which was fine). We left 3 hours later. Weordered two bottles of red wine to start. We were brought Zinfandel instead of Cabernet. We told the waitress who after a timecame back and explained the wine we ordered didn’t come in, so we tried another. 45 minutes after arrival and ordering, thewine came to the table. Appetizers had already arrived. Very very poor and not a good way to enjoy your food. We ordered when wecould and by all accounts, the food was delicious. Our waitress was also great - no complaints there. There’s absolutely noteamwork however. Nobody buses your table and when you’re spending $1000 for a meal it seems like something that one of themanagers or someone could’ve helped take care of. During the course of our meal somebody left without paying, and thatresulted in our waitress being taken away from the table etc to speak to security basically right in front of us. Again- notfine dining. This was not a fine dining experience. We didn’t make a ruckus because we didn’t want to ruin the birthdaycelebration but it was a huge huge disappointment. RC yall need to do better. I’ve received a better meal from Hardee’s andhad a less disgusting experience with dirty dishes, left all over the table as desserts were being brought. Read more

This is one of our favorite date night restaurants. Plenty of different varieties of food and you can pick from menu on a per... item basis. My favorite is the seafood tower. Enough seafood for two people. My husband loves their steak of course, aged toperfection. This last time he chose lobster and shrimp, just to be different because he was not really hungry. We split a wedgesalad (they will divide it up before arriving at your table with it) and it definitely is enough for two also. He said his mealwas great but if you are really hungry you may want to add a bake potato or another side item. Lately they have not had the crablegs or king crab on seafood tower (seems to be hard to get right now) so I have eaten the salmon. It is definitely the best. Itcomes with 3 shrimp on the top and it is really cooked with a lot of flavor. The plate also has spinach underneath the salmon. The plate is very hot so it slowly cooks the spinach as you are eating the shrimp and salmon. It comes with a BBQ butter whichis absolutely superb. Just a hint of tangy sweetness added to the butter. Definitely a little on the high end as far as price, but worthy of a special night out. Desserts, well you can never go wrong. We had sinless chocolate cake (no flour) and creambrulee. Read more

Outstanding customer service, and the food is well worth the price. I highly recommend making reservations, the night that we... went we did not have reservations but we were still able to get seating at the bar, about a 30 minute wait and the service wasimpeccable. The small ( there is a large) Chilled Seafood Tower has a full lobster, large shrimp and a few other small dishessuch as crab and tuna. Very good and super fresh seafood. Read more

Although we have been to several of these restaurants in several parts of the country it’s difficult to give an overall... review. It’s kind of hit or miss with this chain. Some are very good, others not so good. Here at Cherokee we have had verygood experiences. The wait staff is excellent and the food normally prepared properly and served well. It’s a tad expensive soit’s not a value meal but overall the steaks are better than your average steak house. They do insist on serving your steak ona platter that is so hot it is impossible to touch for several minutes but it does keep the steak hot throughout the meal.Overall we give the Cherokee restaurant 4 clams, and the chain as a whole, 3 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale Read more

As always fantastic. Didn't have a reservation on Valentine's day, I did try to get them. However they offered us the bar with a... full menu. Waited in line approximately 15 minutes. I know Gordon Ramsay's is coming there, and Guy Fieri is already there. Butit's hard to match. Ruth's Chris in my humble opinion. Read more

Waiters and staff are amazing. Would have given 5 stars but if you order a steak, I wouldn't put it on a 500 degree plate. By... time it gets to the table it's over cooked. Had to send my charred filet back that was suppose to be med rare. It was med wellto well by time it got to me sitting on that 500 degree plate. My sides, drink and starter were amazing. Love Ruth's Chris and Ihave never had to send a steak back. Read more
