Sorry this review might be a little bit picky and long but I'm writing this review after cleaning up the bugs in my bed which... has left me in a sour mood. To start off, when we arrived we were surprised to see that the café was closed which reallybummed us out. Part of the allure of this location was having the café right below with readily available food. I was kind ofdisappointed that we were not notified before making our reservation of the closure. They also had trouble charging aMastercard, so be careful if that is what you choose to use. If you decide to stay here be prepared to have a small room wherethe doors open up right into the bed. They have a back door entrance just for guest access to use that is supposed to beclosed/locked at all time, however we found it to be propped open several times (by either guests or staff) which seems unsafeand lets the heat and bugs inside. The rooms may have a mini fridge but they have a cart out in the hallway with a microwave anditems for coffee and tea. But what they truly need out there are utensils so guests can eat in their rooms/outside. The firstnight I noticed TP that was left behind the bed near the head of the bed. Luckily it did not look to be used, but still a weirdlocation to find it and honestly kind of gross. Made me think that the room was not cleaned that well before our arrival. Theyhave a sign that says they won't change the towels unless they are left on the floor to save the environment, yet that didn'tseem to stop them from changing out the towels all the time (not complaining, just seems weird to advertise something you don'tdo). However, cleaning staff did take a couple of plastic bags we used to transport bathroom products that were not left intrash cans which was quite annoying when packing to head home. The bathroom also needs a better towel rack - towels kept fallingoff onto the floor which to be honest didn't look that clean but possibly just old. On our last night we noticed Read more

Overall my experience was great! Clean rooms, clean outdoor area, kind staff, all positive, but this review is primarily about... how safe I felt throughout my stay. While the walls were thin and I could hear every conversation that happened to be had on thegrassy lawn in front of the last row of buildings, I was surprised to find a lock on the inside of the door, that only lockedand unlocked from the inside. As a solo, LGBTQ, female traveling ON FOOT I felt so very safe in this facility. When knowing thelock was engaged I slept better in this inn than I have in many motels, inns, bnbs, and even 5 star hotels in cities like LA,NYC, and Boston. Simply because of that lock. Read more

Checked in for a two queen room purchased and lady upfront was giving us the room we purchased until I said we had less adults.... Moved us to one king with 3 people. Most uncomfortable bed. Tiny rooms. Definitely not for families. Read more

Have always wanted to stay here and finally had this opportunity. The beds are soft but to wake up and smell fresh baked goods... was awesome. We did not have breakfast although it looked amazing on the menu. Will stay again in the near future. Read more

Convenient little spot from which to explore Chelan. Simple rooms. Loved the cafe downstairs. A little warm in spring in our... upstairs room (no fans). But building is historic and restored, so it was as expected. Service was great and staff were all verywarm and inviting. Would recommend. Read more
