By far the worst taco del mar ive ever been too. Actually the worst restaurant ive even been to period. Our quesadilla was... burnt. The enchilada sauce was clumpy and watery. But the bad food was nothing compared to the service. Both ladies were superrude and just completely ignored us. I asked if she could melt the cheese on the wet burrito she said no the enchilada saucewill melt it. I asked if she was able too though she said yes. And guess what she didn?t. Honestly it wouldn?t of been a bigdeal if she was not so rude. I have worked at a taco del mar before for about 6 yrs. We would do our job to give our customersthe perfect wet burrito. We would use our steamer which in fact this taco del mar does have but chooses not to use them and justdump cheese on top of clumpy watery cold enchilada sauce. Never again coming to this taco del mar. Definitely a horriblerepresentation of what a good taco del mar restaurant should be. Read more

The owner says "we always strive to offer the best food and service" that's why she opens up with the leftover beans and rice... from the day before, and is extremely rude if you try and ask for anything extra. If you want a little of all the condiments shecomplains she won't be able to roll it. Whatever happened to Taco del Mar saying of, "roll a fat one"? Doesn't apply at herstore. Not only that she rushes you through the process, and tries to roll it before you've finished adding the extras you want.She's as far from pleasant as you can be. There's a really nice girl that works there I really feel sorry for her having to workfor that owner. Edit: I don't know why I keep going back to this Taco del Mar location maybe cuz it's the only one within 60miles of my location. The owner does not care about her customers. We were there on Saturday and she's packing up her backpackand taking off tralala. Leaving a brand new employee that obviously has never been trained properly on how to roll a burrito.Our party about three burritos and all of them were falling apart and leaking everywhere we all needed to put them on a plate toeat them. When we complain the blonde woman behind the counter glared at us and was very rude. Instead of the owner taking offshe should have stayed behind to help the new employee train and learn how to roll a burrito properly and serve the customerscorrectly. I can't say enough on how rude and uncaring the owner of this establishment is. Taco del Mar corporation you need todo something about this owner! I have eaten thousands of Taco del Mars since you first opened in Seattle. Sometimes I would eatthere everyday, and on occasion have been known to eat there twice a day. Food was good and it was clean but Lady that worked today was in a bad mood and rude. Even my 12 year old daughter noticed.. no... one else was inside and she acted like it was a bother to make the food like she was in a hurry with better things to do.. Nohello how are you. Bad energy. Read more

The amount of liquid that shlopped out of my taco when I picked it up to eat it was concerning. The guacamole was literally... tasteless green paste and I am on day 2 of the second worst food poisoning I have ever had. Staff was nice though. Read more

I like the fish burrito and it?s always been good at this location. I see people complaining on here saying they?re employees... are rude. None have ever been rude to me. A couple employees I think just are young, bored (it?s always dead when I go inthere), and probably just aren?t particularly excited about their job as a result. Just a guess. I can?t really blame them. Iwas in the same boat at their age working at a similar type chain restaurant and wasn?t thrilled about it. Like I said, they?venever been rude or given me bad service. I?m also a believer in being polite to others. So when I go somewhere to eat I?m politeto the people helping me, smile, and generally receive the same treatment. I did rate them much higher. Never had a bad experience, but ordered 2 hrs before closing and not only was the order wrong,... neither burrito was wrapped completely leaving both ends exposed and fell apart when we tried to put them on plates. Updated: 10/17/21 This place continues to have The best burritos in the area. Mondo is the way to go. Many choices of... ingredients. Build the mondo the way you want it. Make it a burrito or make it a meal. Want something lighter, their fish tacosare great. The store and restrooms were clean. The staff was Friendly and helpful.
