Plain and simple... How can you ever go wrong with Waffle House?? Left our free "Complimentary Breakfast" and went to Waffle... House instead and glad we did! Going to for the rest of our stay too... Food was over priced, not sure why my meal came to nearly $20 when I ordered a $9.95 hash brown bowl. Couldn't eat inside due to... my service animal, so we sat on the curb since there was no out side seating. The cook came outside to smoke and in the middleof eating our food was told we couldn't sit outside and eat and that we needed to move on. We were treated like garbage, onlybecause we were being kind to some of the homeless folks that were loitering about. I understand if we were making a mess orbeing belligerent, but we were simply trying to eat after being on the road for several hours and walked over from our hotel.Food is over priced, drinks are over priced under staffed. We?re huge Waffle House fans because it?s fast, it?s hot, and everybody?s name is Baby. This was our first visit to this... location and we were pleased with how squeaky clean and bright it was! Waffle House has now started offering omelettes, which Iwas skeptical of, but ordered the mushroom and cheese. It truly was cooked to perfection - fluffy with lots of huge slicedmushrooms and stuffed with cheese. It came with grits and I opted for raisin toast with apple butter. It was more than I couldeat. My husband had the breakfast sandwich with double hash browns and coffee and my grandson had a waffle with juice. Our totalwas $27.75 not including tip. Service was excellent with our very friendly server checking on us frequently. Read more
The weather is very hot outside and my friend and I had been out in the heat all day. We had ice water cups from earlier that... day, and we asked if we could have some ice water and they said yes. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. We came insideand was able get out of the heat. The store was very clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely wouldrecommend this waffle house to anyone. Read more
We walked in at almost 10 pm on July 28. It was obvious there had been a crowd that had just left. Bless the two people who... were working and the off the clock gal who dropped by for a waffle and helped them. The gentleman cooking was as cool as thecenter seed of a cucumber, having random (to me) instructions called out to him, he kept moving at the same pace, never stopped,slowed down or sowed up. He calmly just took care of business. The waitress kept a happy attitude and took good care of us. Please folks, be patient and kind to these service industry workers. They are tired. They are overworked, underpaid and sovery unappreciated right now. My hat is off to these three people and I truly hope the three of you understand how much Ideeply appreciate your efforts. ?? The staff is very inattentive,use foul language,I would not recommend if you have children.the neighborhood is terrible ( I know... this personally because I have lived here 42 years of my life) and it seems as if theirs always someone trying to panhandle ordrink or even selling drugs in the parking lot non-stop.the food was fair ,the wait was way too long and just seems as if theydo not care anything about being there other than to collect a check. Which is very sad because years ago this was one of thebest waffle houses period. You don't have to take my word for it , you can see for yourself. And I am not trying to bash thisrestaurant,nor is this a one time experience,just seems every time I go there it's a bad experience in general. The servings were awesome. We had to bring a lot back to the room. The server was overworked but she was smiling and attentive... and never slowed up. She kept our drinks full and our food was delivered hot. I wish I had gotten her name bc I would havecalled and praised her. The only downside was the place was crowded and noisy but thats good for waffle house!! Thank youwhoever you are. I appreciate the good service. Read more
Have yet to have a bad experience at a Waffle House and this location was no different. Was greeted immediately upon entering... and the service throughout was top notch. Our waitress kept our drinks full and ensured everything was made to our liking. Intypical Waffle House fashion, the food was quick and made perfectly. If you aren't sure what to get I suggest the ham and eggsandwich. You can't go wrong by adding one of the delicious waffles, too. Read more
