We were here with friends. The service was HORRIBLE our server took our order and everything seemed to be ok and when our food... finally arrived after waiting a lengthy time, the waffles were burnt, bacon burnt, omelet over cooked the eggs looked old, theserver slammed one person's plate down the toast slid off the plate onto the table and there was no apology. One person askedthat their burnt bacon be returned and asked if it could be substituted for sausage instead, the grits looked as though they hadbeen dumped in the bowls and were not very hot. The establishment was not crowded in no way our group was seven people but wesat at two different tables close to one another. One person asked the server for Ketchup he became upset and said he would getit when he got ready and we asked what was the problem, he then yelled I will treat you as you treat me and stated we neededanother server. He went over to a coworker and practically threw the tickets at her. We were so confused as to what he wastalking about, he was acting very strange the whole time we were there. The other server came over we explained everything toher, she stated that the other server wanted to cook not serve and the manager(Michelle) told him he had to serve. She then toldus she would talk to the manager about the situation and if it was up to her she would just say everything was on them but itwasn't her call. Ultimately the manager only took our drinks off our tabs which was only two or three drinks everyone mainly hadwater. And the one person who had the omelet decided they didn't want a redo. The manager never came to talk to us. As we wereleaving one of the people in our group just asked for a cup of ice and the previous server yelled at them that he was washingdishes and he needed to wait. Our server was nice and quickly brought us menu's, the food was decent but my coffee was terrible, it was old and cold. The... service was fast but I found a few ants crawling on my table, I thought it was odd but carried on eating lol. The location seemsto be pretty rough, there were people begging for food in the parking lot, a man blowing kisses at me through the restaurantwindow and another man who darted across the road then ran in front of my car as I was leaving. Would have liked to have dined in. Walked in, looked around for a table. All available tables were dirty. Waited for five... minutes for someone to notice or care that four people were just standing around waiting for some kind of service. An offer toclean the table, a hello, I?ll be with you in a moment? ? something? got fully ignored. I like waffle houses, I like the food,been several times. Really didn?t appreciate this place. 07/09/22 around 8:45am - I walk in the 3 staff members look at but don?t greet me or say anything. I sit for 5 minutes and still... no one has said anything to me. Finally one of the crew members ask me ?Dine or Takeout? I say takeout and she responds ?Wecan?t do takeout orders? so I?m thinking why ask if you can?t do them. They need staff members with better attitudes and bettercustomer service skills. Read more
Eating here out of sheer necessity after work. Had there been more options open I would've walked right out. Place was... horrendous, granted there is only 2 older staff and it is early morning. The food was cooked pretty decently, what waspresumably the "lead" was nice enough. They were nice enough to let me know not to go through with my biscuit and gravypurchase, because of thin old, gravy. Maybe, it's better durning the day but I won't be risking it. Read more
Visiting from Texas and This was my second time to a Waffle House, but first time eating at one. The first time I ever stepped... into a Waffle House was almost 8 years ago in Mississippi. It wasn?t the cleanest restaurant and I ended up walking out after aroach casually walked on our table. I?m not sure if it?s the norm for Waffle House restaurants to look dirty, but seems it mustbe.This location wasn?t the cleanest and the staff were rude to each other. Apparently the lady in charge was loud enough foreveryone to hear that she sent an employee home, because they didn?t want to be there. Really? Why do some managers think it?sprofessional to express their frustration in front of customers? Our waitress name was Felicia and she was quick to get ourorder in and our food came out quick.
