Reviews for Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar in Chattanooga, TN
I wanted to like this place so bad but I just did not. The atmosphere is nice and it’s pretty spacious. Our server was kind... and knowledgeable about the menu and helped us out a lot. They do offer a variety of mimosa options which is nice for brunch butI did not like the food. The macaroni is terrible and it taste like it came out of a box. The chicken was good but that was theonly part I could eat from the entire sandwich. My husband loves breakfast food but he ended up throwing his food away rightafter we left. Super disappointed Read more
Just traveling through on an empty stomach and decided to try Tupelo Honey. Overall, food was moderate and service was great.... Their biscuits were my favorite for taste and size. I had the Mac-n-Cheese Waffles with Asheville Hot Fried Chicken which wasalright. Seasoning needed better coverage on chicken batter. Staff members were on point; from providing instructions on parkingto getting me seated and served within 15 mins during the brunch rush. Which is why my 3-star review is a 4. Food is core butcompetent service can make food "taste" better. Read more
Excellent food and service! The house made pickles and ranch are outstanding! Large portions without sacrificing quality. My... only regret is not sharing a meal so we could get an appetizer and desert. I ordered the Mac and cheese chicken and waffles andmy wife got the chicken BLT. Both were outstanding! Read more
Arrived early for my 2:45 pm reservations by about 15 minutes for Mothers' Day. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated... which was fine. Once seated our waitress was with us within a few minutes and took our drink and appetizer orders. She was veryfriendly and checked on us frequently, but not so much to were it became an annoyance. Our appetizers were Crispy Brussels andfried pickles, both were OK, but the brussels tasted a tad bit overcooked. The main course is where Tupelo really shined. Iordered the Sweet and Spicy Bone-in Chicken and my wife ordered the Meatloaf with collard greens and mac. The main course wasamazingly good, and tasted like it came out of a grandma's kitchen versus a restaurant. After finishing my meal, my immediatethought was that I need to come back and try another meal. Really enjoyed our experience and will be back soon. Read more
The wife had eggs Benedict, one of the yokes was cooked all the way through. I had the Cobb salad no bacon, it was very good.... The ranch dressing was awesome. My service was great and only gave 4 stars due to the egg and the biscuits bottoms were hard. When you come by ask for Arron! Read more
Absolutely loved the egg Benedict! Eggs were perfectly poached and seasoned, house made biscuit was crumbly and filling, potato... cracklings crunchy and delicious. Our server was accommodating and everyone’s food tasted so good. Their chicken and biscuitis a must-have. Be warned if you plan to get lavender lemonade it is SPARKLING. If you’re looking for still lemonade withlavender, this isn’t it. Read more
