This location has a GREAT team.... However, if you knew how much they make on the hour, you'd be very surprised they even show... up period. Shame on Speedway for super low wages, unethical as can be!!! It's absolutely no surprise they can't staff the pizzabar because not many people would be willing to work for such tiny, pathetic wages. I?m not sure who the cashier was that was working July 1st I think? probably about 9:30pm? But she was so friendly, sweet,... efficient, had a rhythm going where she was able to multitask and be friendly as well as fast; she was on her game. I keepmeaning to call the store manager to let him or her know how good she was. I was a store manager for years so I realize how hardit is to find people who not only just to show up for work but actually take ownership of their store/responsibilities, and goabove and beyond with friendliness and efficiency. This girl?s a keeper! Don?t let her slip away! If she?s not an assistantalready, I would start training her to be one, get her moved up and keep her with the company! Read more
An growing up in where 7-11's roamed the landscape with Slurpees & Big Gulps where as plentiful as the Buffalo Herds of times... gone past, Speedway was the Oasis. And then then, Southland Corp, (7-11), bought them. But that's irrelevant. Speedway isalways clean, well stocked and so friendly people working there. Read more

"Cafe" is almost always closed. Fountain drink ans slushy machines are regularly broken. Inventory for snacks and drinks can be... hit r miss. Employee turnover is near constant and it shows. The owner really needs to invest, especially for a location beingright next to a major tourist location like th zoo. Read more
Always sweet cashiers, never rude.. usually in and out unless it?s a high point of the day (before work and school, after work... and around 5pm.) enjoy this one because they have pretty cheap gas usually, a lot of gas pumps and a bathroom that holds morethan one or two stalls so you don?t have to sit and wait? they have the best coffee around for sure!! And they also have icecream machines now and many many toppings! You can?t beat a gas station that?s a all in one one stop truck stop? it?s just notan actual truck stop with showers. The employees are interactive, friendly, and once you're a regular they'll take time to know you some. Convenient for on-the-go... stops and getting gas. Speedy Rewards is one of the best rewards programs I've seen. Read more
