We were in Chattanooga visiting family and went here with them for dinner. Reservations for 5.45 and we were seated promptly... with no wait at all. We started off with some Okra Chips and Rajas. I am a huge fan of some fried okra, but this dish broughtokra to a whole new level! So tasty and crispy. The rajas were also delicious, a very unique dish. I ordered the Pan RoastedScallops with a side of Sauteed Mushrooms while my wife chose the Shrimp and Grits. The scallops were delicious! A perfectsear on them and cooked just right! That brown butter jus was super and the addition of the maitake mushroom was the rightaddition to the meal without being overbearing. My side dish of sauteed mushrooms was phenomenal - I am a big fan of mushroomsand this was a tasty mix of cremini, shiitake, maitake mushrooms with some heat from the calabrian chili in the sauce. I wasable to grab a bit of my wife's shrimp and grits and they were delicious...most likely the best I have had at a restaurant. Thegrits were cooked just right (which is so critical in this dish). The shrimp had a really good flavor and the andouille sausageadded a little kick of heat to the whole dish...just right. We finished off the night with the Grownup S?mores - SO, SO, SO, SOGOOD! Our server, Grace, was wonderful as well. Whether you're in Chattanooga for a visit or you live here, you owe it to yourtaste buds to check out Sidetrack...I don't think you'll be disappointed. LOVE love LOVE!! The atmosphere, the food, the service? Everything was top notch! The cocktails were also delicious! I highly... recommend The Jalapeño Margarita and The Bees Knees! Apps: the whipped feta is out of this world!! Order with corn tortillasfor a GF option and they come out warm and fresh!! The Brussel sprouts were some of the best, perfect amount of crunch! Fordinner: the Red Curry half chicken! WHOA, amazing flavors! Others got salmon and lasagna and raved. We also ordered a side ofmashed potatoes and fries because? potatoes!!! And omg, both were amazing. I could eat mashed potatoes and French fries for mostmeals if they all tasted like that. Highly HIGHLY recommend if you are in the area! Clean bathrooms too, YAY! First time dining at this establishment and was very impressed by the Food, Atmosphere and Friendly Staff. The Shrimp and Grits... are some of the best in Chattanooga. The Sycamore Brewery Mountain Candy IPA paired great with the S&G. We will definitely beback and are looking forward to our next visit. Read more

Fantastic dining experience. Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was packed, parking was tight it was hard to find a... spot. We showed up early for our reservation so we sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited. We loved the vibe at the barso much that we chose to stay and have dinner there. The bartender Michael was awesome, so fun and attentive he made fantasticdrink and food recommendations. To start we had the spicy fried okra chips which were delicious. I had the ground mignion withfries which was basically like a large burger patty. The brandy peppercorn sauce was really good and so was the fresh rosemaryon the fries. My partner got the branzino fish and he loved it. We?ll definitely be back, I?d like to try brunch next! Read more

Tried it for the first time on Saturday and I was very impressed with the flavor of the food. All of it was excellent. My wife... and I shared and entree, sides, and dessert for dinner and I regretted sharing once I tasted it. Because although there wasenough food, I could have had more just because it was all so good. Good service and atmosphere. I will definitely returnbecause it was amazing. Read more

We dined at Sidetrack for brunch for my mother's birthday celebration. It is a locally owned establishment with fantastic wood... grilled food. I had the avocado toast, which was served on Niedlov's sesame loaf. It had avocado, sun dried tomato, a poachedegg and feta cheese. I thought it may not be enough so I ordered a side of bacon. The bacon was served crisp and it had asubtle wood smoke flavoring that was like no other bacon I have eaten....outstanding. The avocado toast was so filling, I reallydid not need the side, but am so glad I tried their bacon. My brother had the shrimp and grits, which he had never eaten before. It was beautifully presented with Andouelle, holy trinity, tomato pepper broth, creamy grits and plump, perfectly cooked shrimp. He thoroughly enjoyed his dish. My mother had traditional Eggs Benedict, which the server told us was a fan favorite.Of course,we started with authentic beignets which are not fried until ordered and arrive warm with a light dusting of powdered sugar. They truly melt in your mouth and are delightful. The atmosphere is lively with an energetic vibe. I recommend reservations forbrunch. Our server, Erin, was delightful and attentive. She was well versed on their menu and wine options. My mother was sovery happy with her experience. Read more
