Went there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1. Place was slightly crowded and we had to wait 10 mins to be seated which... was acceptable. We expected the food to be great but we were utterly disappointed. The waiter was polite and offered goodservice. The restrooms were clean and the overall ambience was good. Everything to do with food sucked. We ordered steameddumplings and Fried rice with high spice level. The dumplings were okay but the fried rice was very bland, flavorless and hadless salt. Read more

Loved it!!!! One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. Be aware there's a funny smell, can't say if it was the carpet or... what, but it smelled like a grandma's closet. But when the food arrived, the smell became insignificant, it was so delicious andcame out fast. I recommend it 100% Read more

Came Saturday at 5pm and kitchen service was awfully slow! We ended up leaving with the food to-go after waiting 40 minutes for... our dumpling appetizer. Overall, a disappointing first visit. Read more

The food here is amazing! I don't believe I've ever had a bad meal here. The staff is usually prompt and give good service. The... selection of food is great, and the sushi is wonderful. I would give 5 stars but the dining room needs a refresh, especially thecarpet. I know its a restaurant and things are always getting spilled but now there is a smell in the dining room that standsout just a little more than it should. Otherwise its a wonderful place to have some Thai food. Read more

Our first time at Rain and it was fantastic. I walked in to ask if the outdoor seating was open, Nathan politely said let me... check. He came back and said sorry no there weren?t any servers available (they were pretty busy) but he would be happy to seatus inside. I told him that we had our dog with us so that?s why I asked about the patio. He said Oh let me get a server andthan stopped, turned around and said, I will just take care of you. So we sat in the beautiful patio area that is clean andsurrounded by flowers and has the coolest flaming lights. Nathan was fantastic and even though we we?re the only ones outside,he did not miss a beat. He was honest, very nice and attentive. Our food came out hot and quick. We asked for fried garliccrumbles on top and it was not a problem. The spice of medium was perfect! It had good heat but not too much. Nathan knowswhat customer service is and is an asset to this restaurant. The waitstaff loved our dog and we?re all very friendly andaccommodating. Curry fried rice - excellent Green dragon roll - very good Thai iced tea - delicious Mia Tai - excellent Willdefinitely go back Update: 2nd visit 2 days later We sat inside this time. The interior is nice and the rain walls are neat. But the interior needs a cleaning. The floor had junk all over it. My purse slipped between the booth and wall and when I pickedit up I noticed all kinds of junk there. Old napkins, junk, dirt, it was disgusting. The glass and mirrors need cleaning. Overall, I feel the interior really need a thorough cleaning, more than just the surface. Nick was our waiter and he was niceand did his job. We ordered the chicken dumpling appetizer and curry chili pepper fried rice. Both were good but the chilipeppers pieces were so tiny we didn?t even know they were in there. Chicken dumplings - good Chili pepper fried rice - reallygood Read more

If you're in Chattanooga, this is a must visit restaurant. The food is great. The portions are appropriate and the menu is... decently long which has great options. We tried the dumplings, fresh rolls and the Tofu garlic delight. The spice levels areserious please make sure to tell the server how you like the food. Has a long wait time, I'd recommend reservations (onlyweekdays) Read more
