This would be a good candidate for Triple D. With emphasis on the third D. My kind of place! The indoor dining area is pretty... small but you can wind your way up to the roof on an old spiral staircase to grab a table. The Pepper Jammer burger I orderedwas incredible and of course, you can't go to the Pickle Barrel without trying the deep fried pickle spears. Read more

Unique place! The atmosphere was good. Upstairs, a lot use for smoking. The fried pickle spears were great!!! The Rueben was... good, I?ve had better, they mix the kraut and corned beef together, could have had more kraut and sauce, but it was still good. The signature burger was great and unique, fried pickles and pickled onions. Was simply ok. Both my mother and I thought the fries were good. I enjoyed the pickle battered tenders but the coke was odd and... my mother did not care for her sandwich. Not that hers was horrible just nothing to particularly write home about. Read more

Best seats are outside as you overlook downtown streets. Food and drinks couldn?t have been better, especially for the price.... When you come downtown. Give them a try and plan to take your time Read more

We came during happy hour which is from 4-7pm I believe Monday to Friday to have some drinks and share an appetizer. We sat at... the upstairs covered patio and it was a lovely atmosphere. They have an extensive drinks and food menu. We got the tatchos whichare tater tot nachos and it was so good! Prices were very reasonable considering it?s in the heart of downtown. Indoors there?sa great vibe too and I love the style of the bar - reminds me of a pub in England. I?ll be back! Read more

Cleanest bathroom is a local bar I've EVER SEEN! oh and the service and food were beyond my expectations for late night food.... Fried Chicken marinated in pickle juice - who would have thought that would be so delicious. Breading was light and not greasy.Sidewinder fries are like steak fries got a perm! Also fried to perfection and excellent with malt vinegar. Large variety ofbeer, seltzer and pickle backs. Watch the spiral staircase, eclectic but after a drink or two take your time on the way down. The Pickle Barrel restaurant one of the top 10 to-do in Chattanooga. Historic flatiron-like architecture building hosted many... businesses since 1893. The Pickel Barrel has served traditional American pub cuisine since 1982. and offers classic Americancuisine and a iconic pub atmosphere. Dine inside in the darkened wood patina, table or rustic pub. Dining available outdoors onbalcony, watch with the downtown. Food and service is outstanding. Read more
