Unique place! The atmosphere was good. Upstairs, a lot use for smoking. The fried pickle spears were great!!! We came during happy hour which is from 4-7pm I believe Monday to Friday to have some drinks and share an appetizer. We sat at... the upstairs covered patio and it was a lovely atmosphere. They have an extensive drinks and food menu. We got the tatchos whichare tater tot nachos and it was so good! Prices were very reasonable considering it?s in the heart of downtown. Cleanest bathroom is a local bar I've EVER SEEN! oh and the service and food were beyond my expectations for late night food.... Fried Chicken marinated in pickle juice - who would have thought that would be so delicious. Breading was light and not greasy.Sidewinder fries are like steak fries got a perm! Also fried to perfection and excellent with malt vinegar. Large variety ofbeer, seltzer and pickle backs. Watch the spiral staircase, eclectic but after a drink or two take your time on the way down. This would be a good candidate for Triple D. With emphasis on the third D. My kind of place! The indoor dining area is pretty... small but you can wind your way up to the roof on an old spiral staircase to grab a table. The Pepper Jammer burger I orderedwas incredible and of course, you can't go to the Pickle Barrel without trying the deep fried pickle spears. Read more
