My first time there and will most definitely be going back. Can easily see why they have been in business all these years. ... While you're there, read the history on the walls! Loved that part! Read more

Classic baseball dogs lol. Around since the 1930s. Chattanooga staple. $5 for vegitarian/regular hotdogs. $8 for combo... (chips/drink). Indoor seating. Would recommend! Mrs. Griffins is also at the Chattanooga Farmers Market on Sundays (how wefound them) Read more

Excellent dog. From Chicago & was still impressed. That massive footlong is no joke. Watching the guy make them, killing it,... at his station was also impressive. Good spot for a dog for sure. Read more

Being from Alabama where we have a Sneaky Pete's Hot dog chain (which is the best) this place not only has variety they have... homemade ingredients and was originally established in the 1900's by a black women who caused traffic problems and brought inbank!! I love even the history behind it. Her last names are Hawkins and Griffin which are both common in Birmingham, AL yetdistinct at the same time. I have ties to both last names and on my first visit as I Read the history was absolutely grateful tobe a 2022 1st time customer. ???? her legacy and some of her own recipes still live on!! This was one of the best hot dogs I've had anywhere. Very friendly service. High quality ingredients. It's small, but it was... comfortable and authentic. I tried a classic: cheese, Coney sauce, and bacon. The bun was so soft, the temperature was perfect, and the Coney sauce was delicious. They piled on crumbled bacon! Honestly, it might be worth the two-hour drive from Atlantawhen I crave one next week ... and there's no doubt I'll think about this from time to time. Read more

Went on a Friday around 1pm. They had a lunch rush right after we got there. The cashier and owner were both friendly and... patient even though the line was out the door. The hotdogs were delicious!! Will definitely be coming back for more. Read more
