Finally checked this place out during one of my bi-monthly excursions to Chatt. Their London Fog is among the better ones I've... had, along with being served at a very acceptable temperature. The Alice is a big win, especially when one adds bacon. Portionsare reasonable and you would definitely get plenty of bang for your buck. The overall vibe is laid back and definitely a hipsterjoint. The service at Mean Mug is amenable and overall experience is not stressful in the slightest. There were several dogsthat other customers brought with them, so if you're an animal lover you'll get even more out of this experience. Highlyrecommend this low-key establishment. Read more

Wonderful coffee shop in a nice part of Chattanooga. I got the peppermint latte, my wife got the lavender latte. The lavender... was phenomenal. Smooth as silk and not too sweet. The peppermint was also very good, and also not too sweet. I highly recommendchecking them out if you want some great coffee. Read more

Great service and a great breakfast! I had a sausage breakfast sandwich with pesto and feta; delicious! I also got an espresso... drink, but that tasted kind of off - like the espresso grinder hadn't been cleaned in a while. Would definitely go back forbreakfast though! Read more

Unimpressed with the service and food. I placed a to go order and the girl who took my order said it would take 15-20 minutes. I... come in around 15 minutes after I place the order and I pay for the food and she says it?ll be another 10 minutes. I end upsitting at a table waiting for them to be done. I end up checking in again and a girl said she would check for me and she tellsme it?ll be another 10 minute. At this point I have waited 40 minutes for an everything bagel with some eggs and a side ofpotatoes, and a breakfast combo that included a biscuit, eggs, grits, and a sausage. I check in one more time and the girl seemsannoyed that I am asking once again, and I AM ANNOYED at this point. It was steady in the store at this time, but people whohave come in after me and placed their coffee and food order while I sat there waiting for my to-go food had gotten all theirfood and eaten it in the span of me sitting there. Not once did they check in or tell me ?hey we forgot your order, we?reworking on it.? Or ?hey it?s really slammed and the kitchen is backed up.? I would have understood instead of asking so manytimes. At the 50 minute mark I went up and asked if I could go ahead and get a refund, and the girl that had ignored me and toldme to wait ?another ten minutes? sees me asking for a refund and basically throws the bag on the counter. I grabbed it and left, just to see they didn?t add the jam nor any ketchup. Potatoes were Luke warm and not very good. Bagel was alright; it?s hard tomess up a bagel. The biscuit was dry. Eggs looked nasty. Would not recommend. Included pictures to show what 50 minutes ofwaiting for food looked like. Read more

We mainly stopped in here for coffee and breakfast, both which fell far short. We each got a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. All... which tasted prepackaged and gross. The bacon was rubbery, and tasted as if it had been cooked in a microwave. The eggs wereobviously dehydrated pre-packaged eggs. And the biscuit was a frozen reheated glob of crumbles. My hot mocha came out cold, andmy girlfriend's ice chai was not truly made fresh, it was a prepackaged mix The pastries we purchased for our drive home wereeven worse than the breakfast. We ended up throwing them away at our first stop. Read more

Went on a Sunday morning around 10am. Easy street parking (free). Not much of a wait to order and got a table right away. Prices... were very reasonable. I had the peanut butter toast (very good) and an iced latte (nothing to write home about). My boyfriendgot the breakfast biscuit - he said it was OK. Read more

Delicious, quick breakfast spot! This was my go to spot after being on vacation in TN for a week. One of the best biscuit... sandwiches I had while in town. Not only was the food great (bagels, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, etc.) but the service was great. Read more

Breakfast and coffee were hot and fresh. Only took a few minutes to get what we ordered. Great atmosphere with indoor and... outdoor seating. Service with a smile. Read more
