We live in Texas and love coming here to eat when in Chattanooga. This time was sadly disappointing. The food was hardly warmer... than room temp. The cheese couldn't even melt and the gravy congealed because it was barely warm. I asked for them to makeanother or at least warm it up, as it was not enjoyable. The lady running the front acted very annoyed and put out. The cookmade another, and it was exactly the same...barely warm. I now notice that other reviews are saying their food needed to bewarmer. I heard about this place from a friend so I decided to give it a shot, because it's always busy when I drive by. The food didn't... hit me like I expected. The chicken on the Squawking Goat was well cooked. The pepper jelly was tasty ,but could be warmer whenserved. I will try something different the next time. I just had the five and dime biscuit and it was one of if not the most delicious breakfast biscuit I?ve ever had. It was so good... I even scraped the gravy off the plate after I finished with the biscuit. I would highly recommend this place for some greatfood. The coffee is really great and the foods amazing and the service was awesome! Even though that they had a line to the doorthe entire time I was there they were fast even though you can tell they were short staffed and they absolutely killed it 10/10will be coming back again!
