We had to try this well known place that is half-restaurant, half-butcher shop with a side of deli thrown in. We were seated on... the patio by our choice but I think we would have liked the inside a little better. We were there during the lunch menu protocol(4pm) which we didn't know until we got the menus. Our server was helpful and attentive. We both selected the cheeseburger. Ihave to say, it was the best one I've ever had and cooked perfectly at medium rare. There was a delicious tang to it that youneed to experience for yourself. My husband's selection of side plate was collard greens. It was a small dish but very tasty. Myside plate was potato salad. It was very unusual and more on the warm side with a good mix of flavors. It's was a dish thatcould have been shared. It was too much for me to finish. We opted to share a piece of the apple cake. It had great flavor butwas very small so not great for sharing. We intend to visit again but at dinner time Please do try this place, you won't regretit. Read more
This is in our top 3 restaurants we've EVER been to! Claire and Corban were both beyond professional and friendly. I have a... severe fish and seafood allergy and all the staff was knowledgeable and courteous about it. Beyond just the service, the barselection was outstanding! The whiskey list was a leather binder with 30 pages full of local, international, and special picks.The rotating cocktail and beer selections were unique and delicious! Now for the food! We started with the Eggplant and Fetadip, it was very tasty and the pita bread was crazy good. The main course was what really pushed this meal to the top in ourminds. The chicken with arugula puree and pickled grapes was exquisite. The dry aged steak was better than any steak we've everhad out, even better than Flemmings in Nashville. The bordelaise sauce was just right to enhance the tender beef. The potatosalad was served warm and also impressed us. We finished off the meal with the chocolate cheesecake. Don't think NY style eggybaked cheesecake. This was light, and rich, and velvety. The Chantilly cream and ganache were perfect complements. My husbanddoesn't really do dessert, and cheesecake a dessert he almost NEVER eats. But he ended up taking several more bites after hetried it, because it's just that good. We weren?t aware at the time, but we came at a weird time, between 4-5. Apparently their kitchen shuts down and only serves... charcuterie and one burger option. We were kind of upset that we couldn?t even order fries but we stuck around until 5 when thekitchen opened back up. The burger was AMAZING. So flavorful and juicy. Our server was so kind and apoplectic for the limitedmenu. She was super nice and very attentive. Wished we could?ve tried more, but next time! Read more
They may have the best hamburger I?ve ever had in life. Order it as it comes because everything was crafted to perfection to... tantalize your taste buds. House made pickles, house bacon, freshly ground meats. Just salty enough, just savory enough, everbite a legitimate delight. Truthfully we came in looking for a sandwich, something in the hoagie dept. The menu changeseveryday and the waiter gave us the recommendation. Burger and potato salad. Not only was the burger out of this world but thepotato salad has now destroyed all other potato salads for me. My mom and I had just been to the spa and wanted a light lunch. This was PERFECT! We got the 3 meat & 2 cheese board. They had... some amazing looking burgers, too, but we stuck with the board. Such a cute vibe with the indoor/outdoor seating. We loved it! Read more
The cocktails and food here is a 10/10 Had the 41 day aged ribeye and it did not disappoint! And the mashed potatoes took me... back to my mothers kitchen. Also the homemade fries and spring pea sides were ????????. I would highly recommend this place.You will not be disappointed. Read more
I?ve been eating here for ~7 years, much more frequent in the last 1-2 years. Service, quality, atmosphere- all 10/10. There are... very few places I eat out at anymore so it really takes something special to keep me coming back. Check out the butcher shop onthe way out. We stopped in on a whim while in Chattanooga for a few days on vacation. My husband had a whiskey flight, I had a cocktail and... we shared a meat/cheese plate and the special sausage plate. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious! Our server waswonderful too. Great atmosphere on the patio, very cozy on a rainy Sunday evening. I hope we can come back! Read more
